Are we all in agreement here that Jones never would have retired if these charges didn't come to light at conveniently the right time????
I'm sure he planned on holding the belt until he was stripped, and didn't plan on this fiasco to de-rail his plans, so basically he retired before he could be "disgraced" as a belt holder dealing with extra drama.

Who knows? Could be any number of things. MMA Guru suspects it was later that night after he did the Nelk boys interview where he cut the interview short when they asked him about what it would take to fight Aspinall. That could be the same night where he (presumably still drunk) called Dana and told him he was retired. Like he was tired of being asked if he would do something he had no intention of ever doing.

Whether he’s guilty or not, the way people are burning him at the stake for his past and possibly this is garbage. I’m sure we all have friends or family who have done shit just as bad and they’re still our family/friends.
Don’t get me wrong I think there should be consequences to the crimes hes accused of committing if he’s guilty but the sherbitches whining and hating on him to the max for anything is just lame/cringe and just a wimpy ass thing to do.

Maybe if he didnt have that fake bible boy persona for half his career people would cut him more slack. No one likes a two faced liar.

Also people are not hating on him for nothing, he actually does these things on a regular basis. His highlight for being a pos is longer than his mma highlight...
 
Was literally watching a movie about Chuck Wepner last night. Jon Jones seems determined to hit every fighter movie cliche out there.
 
I've been trying to find more details on this case, but I can't seem to find them. I'm assuming the vehicle belonged to the woman in the passenger seat.

And it says it was a two-car crash, but there doesn't seem to be another witness. Possibly they struck a parked car?

If that's the case, Jones might get away with it. It's her word versus his, and unless they have forensic or video evidence that he was in the car or fled the scene, then I'd be surprised if he was convicted on the woman's word alone. But if he did call her 13 times and they can link his cell phone to calling her, then that does support her story.

He’s a human being with human faults and if you’re not a complete dork, have no social life, or never do anything exciting you should be able relate and have patience with understanding.
I think it’s good to have consequences but not to be stoned/burned/ruined, unless it’s something that’s on another level.
We need more sherBROS on here sooner than later or it’s gonna have a slow death.

You need to put on your big boy pants. You are on a mma forum complaining about people discussing what a pos jones is after yet another allegation of doing fucked up shit, when all the other allegations that have been made before this have been true and most caught on video. Even if hes innocent in this one, his track record of what we know he has done speaks for itself.
