Jones wanted none of that when Ngannou was under contract, holding the belt, and calling him out. Even as the UFC was offering him 10 millions, he said it was way too low.

When Ngannou finished his contract, he had zero guarantee that Jones would show up if he resigned.

Yes, the Francis who fought Lewis is the same guy who defended Miocic's takedowns, was landing leg kicks, reversed his TD on a switch and knocked him out in their second fight. Exact same fighter. No question. What's next, you're going to tell us that Francis' leg injury wasn't real against Gane?

Jones should be favored against Francis in a theoretical fight considering his history, but we know so little about Jones at Heavyweight - movement and cardio with added weight; chin against bigger guys; defense and durability as he's gotten older - while also being aware that Francis has true kill shot power that it isn't isn't crazy to think that Ngannou knocks him out either.

Frank will be a shell by the time he fights again in 2024. He is one of the most inactive fighters I've ever seen

I know it’s a troll thread but what I got from that fight is Francis has no heart and I was right. He ran from jones, avoided stipe rematch. He’s a big coward who won’t do anything on less the terms are advantageous to him. He knew he got lucky against stipe, he knew he would get beaten by jones so he ran off to the c leagues in the hope of crushing some cans.
