Too early to tell what any of this will mean. Somehow I get the feeling that the interests of the Venezuelan people is at the bottom of the list of priorities. Also, seizing the oil is not as simple as folks make it out to be. If Trump wants to reimburse the oil companies for rebuilding the infrastructure for the oil industry in Venezuela, it will take a long time and money that will come out of tax payers pockets. Probably talking about trillions of dollars. Good luck getting congress to approve that.

Maduro sucks and those elections are bullshit and not transparent from what I know of them. I don't support regime change regardless but that doesn't change that Maduro is a shit bird dictator

What do you know about their elections? I was following multiple election observers that were independent journalists with boots on the ground during that last election.

They have:

- ID Verification
- Thumb Print Verification
- Voting Machines that are not connected to the Internet
- Paper Ballot Receipts
- Paper Ballots counted and matched to electrical votes
- Public Vote Tallying
- Vote Auditing

Meanwhile in the last US election they sent my ballot to a prior residence, and when I went into vote in person not only was I not required to show ID, it was ILLEGAL for me to show ID to prove who I was. They also tried to make it illegal to even question election results in the US. Meanwhile people just stated this election was rigged with ZERO evidence.

The reality is their last election was like the election Trump lost to Biden, but claimed he won. It was a damn near 50/50 split, so the people that lost thought they were cheated.
