We 100% agree on MJ and Kobe. Personally, I don’t care who is the GOAT of MMA. The sport is still really too young. It can be fun conversation but folks in here can ruin it fast. Boxing has 100 years of history to look back on and discuss GOAT fighters. MMA is still in its infancy. In the end, JJ will always be in the conversation because nobody ever beat him. The one loss on his record was a DQ in which he ended the other fighters career. The other fighter did not beat him.

He didn't duck Tom. He said he was announcing for the UFC to announce the date. It's all a matter of timing. They want it to be on a specific day, I dunno why. Timing is many times benefitial for the company to do the fight. Even more with some contract issues with platforms, broadcasters, which is leading the UFC to drag things, holding big cards. Jon Jones said he and Tom were waiting for the UFC and such. All this retiring, having Tom fight Gane, win, then JJ comes back, it's all beneficial for them to profit, form the fighters and the company. Not the other HWs, but no one there is calling for the shot, so...

But it's clear Jon Jones accepted as Dana, and the fighters who commented said as much. The only fighter who said he didn't believe Jon Jones was still champion and should be stripped was Robert Whittaker... But he said that kinda laughing too. You don't see big fights happening due to timing and the ideal moment. I'm pretty much 100% sure JJ will fight Tom and the fight will be shown... And I'm pretty confident that no matter how hard it is, Jon Jones is winning that fight as he has done in every fight other than a DQ loss by illegal elbows. When JJ fights Tom and if he beats him, what other argument will be there? None. He didn't duck, he is back now and is going to fight, with all this drama being on purpose and Jones wins, the history repeats itself. Going through generations of fighters.
