We know for a fact from Islam's own mouth he was 79.5 kg in the cage against Arman a few years back which is 175... So 178-180 ain't farfetched. We already know LWs like Felder, Dober, Tibau, Ramos have been 180 in the cage as LWs altho they've been the biggest and Islam ironically fought 3 of em.

I'm surprised and a bit disappointed in Volk. Didn't expect him to do an excuse tour. And no he didn't win. At best he won 2 rounds (round 2 and obviously round 5). There is no rational way to find 3 rounds for him. He got outstruck on the feet and taken down multiple times. He lost. I wish he'd stop with the "I won" and the excuses. Bad look.

If you think he won Round 2 there's a very rational way to think Volk won 3 rounds given the vast majority of people gave Volk both rounds 3 and 5. If you think Round 2 was close enough that you gave it to Volk then surely Round 3 at the bare minimum was debatable. Or are you just getting Rounds 2 and 3 mixed up? I reluctantly had it 48-47 Islam with Volk winning 3 and 5 but Round 2 was close.

Volk under 170 by fight night is not believable. By CSAC numbers he's 166.5 when he's fighting at 145 and he bulked like crazy for 155.

That Islam was 180 is plausible, Max Holloway wa 178lbs against Aldo.

You didn't read my post, I said someone was arguing it was closer to 50-45 Islam than it was 48-47 even to Islam let alone Volk, as in 4 rounds weren't even in question, that was either trolling or someone so new to MMA they've only ever heard of Conor, Brock and Rousey before. Are you admitting that was you? Also what people are you referring to? More people scored it in Volk's favour than they did 49-46 Islam if your referring to MMA media scores. 48-47 was the right score.
