Debunking volks narratives

Volk being a very poor loser really makes it hard to riot for him in the future. He's an amazing fighter but this is just silly behavior on his part

He's not a poor loser at all. That fight was razor close and he's hyper competitive and thinks that he won. He handled the loss well, but you can't expect a guy like Volkanovski to accept a result he doesn't believe.

I disagree. Look at other top guys like Demetrious Johnson. When Henry took that questionable rematch Dec, he was all class. You can be a top competitor and still take losses with grace. I lose ref Dec in bjj from time to time and I never feel like I should have lost them but there's nothing to say but I should have done more

I also don't think it was a razor close fight. I gave Volk 2 rounds. He did remarkably well all things considered. But Islam was the rightful winner imo. I think they're both some of the best active fighters right now.

I agree with this post.
Volkanovski is fake. Between round three and four he thought he lost the first two rounds. he is telling his corner that.
Now he tries to sell the idea that he won the fight lol.

when he claimed that Makhachev thought he lost the fight because ‘he heard from someone that he said that to his corner’.
They should have asked him in which language did he ask his corner. Islam is not going to talk English to the majority of his corner lol.

Volkanovski is instructed by Eugene to say these kind of stuff. They are a very disrespectful camp. It’s the same guy that complained after the Hooker fight and was crying in the media that Khabib ‘trashttalks’.

I find the body language in the post-fight presser more telling.

I think kebab advised him to avoid a rematch. Volk's takes it. Islam isn't going to improve his wrestling in time for a rematch. Volk's will take him down early in the rematch. He has his number now and will turn it in earlier.
 
Piece of advice that helped me: stop trying to frame professional fighters into moral, honest, good human beings.

Then you don’t give a shit about what they say or do that’s full of douchebaggery. Instead, you focus on their skills and just generally being entertained.

Volks kind of a sore loser and maybe a douche… hate to see a broken-hearted fan who fought he was such a good guy.

There’s no angels in this sport. Minus maybe Damien Maia, he might be.
 
Volk's team put out the narrative to force a rematch...fuck that..Islam has bigger fish to fry....Dariush, Gaethje, Chandler and Poirier....go back to FW and beat your challengers...

2: Islam and IV (On Ariel show)
3: Islam was 180 pounds
