I just stand on two plates. So only like a 1 and 3/4th inch deficit. Nothing crazy but I feel it. Definitely hits a little different. I like it.

I need to post my deadlift vid for a form check. This is my first time doing conventional deads in probably a decade Actually, probably more. Tired today. Only got 4 hours of sleep and had to be up at 630 to take the kid to a tournament. He did good, he took 3rd.

He's at his natural weight. But he was really light today for the weight class. Came in at 179.8 for 192. But he's strong at this weight. Only lost to two state qualifiers and almost beat one of them, he ended up losing 8-6. Reno Worlds in a couple weeks at 184 will which be better for him. He really wants to place there since that tournament gives high school All American status. We'll see what happens.

Felt fat. I ate two big donuts last night. I'm not running sheiko squats so ideally I'd like to get in 5 or 6 walks a week. It doesn't burn a ton of calories but walking really does help me stay lean. Some other change must be going on to help with fat loss besides just burning calories from the walking. Maybe I should look into it.

Agreed. Tank(my dog, Milk) has gotten really lazy the last year. Vet says he's fine, maybe his age is finally hitting him even though he's only 7. We used to walk a mile a night. Now he just doesn't want to and turns around quick. I had no idea how much that leisurely hour stroll a night was keeping the midsection tight. Big difference without it.
 
I try to go for a couple short walks, if not at least one longer one, every day. I've read that doing a 10 minute walk after eating is really good for you and lowers blood sugar levels or some shit.

Conditioning - BJJ

Killer Tuesday

20 minutes of King of the Points - starting from standing, first one to get points wins. You could get a takedown or pull guard and hit a sweep, etc.

Then five 6-minute rolls, starting on the feet. Had a great roll with a fellow purple that I'm evenly matched with, then put the screws to a big young white belt only to be murdered to death by two black belts before finishing up with another young white belt.

Good shit.
