I don't know about that. DC knew he had a tale of leaning his head to block kicks, Jones hinted at it in the past. Jones went high one or two times prior to actually throwing the finisher, but DC made the read. Jones kept attacking him low and to the body.

Eventually, Jones threw another feeler out there, it was DC who reacted to defend his body feverishly because DC was now trained to protect his body. Jones knew it was time at that point.

where did I say it was easy to predict? If JBJ used the left high kick the way crocop did, then he could've prepared BETTER........also, DC had been eating hard body kicks, so, even if he had prepared specifically for a LHK, it wouldn't have mattered because he 100% thought that kick was going to the body, and there is no way to prepare for that

Then compare that to getting caught by a guy who is perhaps the most innately talented fighter in modern mma, who spent that whole fight throwing kicks to the leg and body (conditioning Cormier's responses), and has never finished or even rocked a man with a high kick. If you need it explained to you why your comparison is awful, then you know fuck all about fighting.
