Deadlifts and milkshakes

Ha, alright, maybe I don't eat more than you guys. I forget that I can just eat more than the men in my *real* life.

Quick, someone post a picture of a cute puppy dog, this log is overflowing with testosterone.

Noms:

Meal 1: Protein sludge, fuckkkk I'm really bad at breakfast.
Meal 2: cheese ravioli, ground beef and red sauce
Meal 3: Wendy's: chicken sammich, french fries and a coke
Meal 4: spinach wrap with chicken, tomatoes and cheese, slice of some awesome cake.

Notes: I really need to get better at preparing food. It's not cost effective right now and I still don't feel like I'm eating enough. Meal 4 was left overs from a party I worked.

I promise I will get back to training tomorrow. Just worked two 10+ hour shifts back to back.

PWO Meal 2: chili, sour cream + tortilla chips, glass of milk + 1 scoop protein

Notes: I think part of the reason I haven't been feeling so hot is I'm not drinking enough water. All of this salty food, protein, etc. is not what I'm used to. Plus, the protein I ordered is part creatine and I know you're supposed to drink more water with creatine.

First squat form check in a while. I'm actually pretty satisfied with how it looks and felt. The first two reps felt lose and even hurt my hip a little but I fixed it by staying tighter. I wish I could look like I'm not sleeping and move a little faster, but my tail tuck seems to be improved and my tendency to "good morning" the weight seems to have gone away. Weight was light though...who knows what will happen when it gets heavier. Thoughts?

Those squats look very good to me. The only thing I'd really like to see you try to eliminate is the slight bit of swaying you seem to be doings. Maybe I'm imagining things, but you sway backwards just a hair after most of your reps.

You mean when I'm at the top of the squat?

I do notice it now that you pointed it out. I wonder why I do that and wonder even more how I can stop doing it.

I don't think your eyes are playing tricks on you. If you watch the bar path, it does seem to go back a little.

Do you squat low bar or high bar, WC?

If low bar, you could probably eliminate it by bringing your torso position forward, say, five degrees at the start. In other words, hunch forward just a tad. If you're standing completely vertical with a low-bar position like you're doing, it's not uncommon for the weight to pull you back on your heels just a tad at the top.

However, if you're not squatting low bar, disregard this.

Where did you get this? I'm looking for something with ~25g protein and ~5g creatine in it.

Truprotein.com

You can customize the percentages of supplement you want. I think they just raised their prices unfortunately.

Low bar.

It does look like I'm getting pulled back a little.

Moo, why don't you just buy some protein and some creatine and mix 'em? You can buy enough creatine monohydrate to last you nine months for thirty bucks from GNC that way.

The container size would be too small. Also I'd have to do math.

Alright, I did the math and in order to get 2g of Creatine monohydrate and 14g of whey protein in the same 70mL scoop, I'd need 28mL of creatine solution and 42mL of protein solution using the ones I have now. Roughly a 2:3 ratio. Scaling up to my 2.2L container, that'd be about 12 and a half scoops of creatine and 18 and a half scoops of protein.

Cool beans.

1 shake in skim milk would contain about 300 calories, 30g of protein and 2g of creatine. 2-3 a day after my big meals = winning.
