Media DDP going for more action in rematch "These Americans need to learn the hard way"

I'm not saying, obviously, that Khamzat is "easy" by any means.
But, stylistically, a Sean rematch is a bigger challenge for DDP.

I think DDP beats both, though.

Strickland throwing something behind the jabs and willing to exchange and counter with his insane defense should make him able to walk through anyone but Poatan.

But I guess I'm just portraying a mythical fighter, and Sean just can't push the pedal and fight more aggressive or his whole style would fall apart.

We'll see.

I, for one, welcome our new South African overlords.

Dricus is hands down one the smartest and more genuine fighter in the game right now.
I'm glad that people have finally caught on to how cerebral he is. I was saying he'd best Izzy for the belt after the Brunson fight, once he got his nose fixed and could breathe i knew the division was fucked.

DDP is still underrated in my book, beating Sean again by a finish will certainly give him the props he's due, but it's a tall task.

Yeah, well, good luck against this American Badass

You know what, I can't hate on Sean since I won my first three karate tournaments as a kid with this exact technique <lol>

Basically, he’s saying Strickland is pillow-fisted and he’s going to walk him down.

Usually the 5th round is a good indicator for how the next fight will go.
Strickland outlanded him by 20 punches, but this could just have been due to the cardio advantage.
Sean definately needs to step on the gas this time to have even better championship rounds.

DDP is younger though, so still evolves quicker. Both fighters in their prime right now.

Strickland needs to add some calf cick and improve his right hand.
And DDP uh get some boxing coach that fixes that ugly technique.

Sean is a point fighter with incredible cardio. We don't have to guess what he will do. He's going to do his defensive crab, toe teep body kick and repeat.

If he tries to get aggressive while both guys are fresh, he's probably getting knocked out. We already know DDP has better power and overall grappling, while Sean has better cardio. Likely the best cardio in the division.

IMO Sean has at best a 40% change of point fighting a victory here if he does everything just right. Otherwise, he's going to have to take risks and DDP is the guy who gets stoppages.

Zero interest of this fight. DDP might be trying to sell it though. Alex did it pretty easy, so there's hope. But wouldn't be shocked another split decision.

instead of this boring rematch we could've have khamzat vs ddp

this is ufc for you, they ruin themselves
