Point fighting to a degree, but it's still damage. There are point fighters that win fights and don't even leave a mark on their opponent. Sean at least busts up whoever he's fighting.

The issue for DDP isn't getting TD's. It's keeping Strickland there. And DDP is a guy who wants to do damage on the mat. The problem is that takes space, and Strickland is too good at scrambling up when given any space.

We will also need to see if the staph rumors are true and if they are...do they affect Sean or no? Maybe he's putting off the antibiotics until after the fight to avoid it hurting his cardio. Lotta unknowns.

Actually i digress. Watching Strickland fight is exceptionally frustrating. I don't even want him to win, just fucking fight.

Strickland won the first fight any way you see it. He out pointed him and did way more damage . DDP won as they desperately wanted DDP v Izzy n it was best for business in a close fight. I honestly can't understand how you can wreck a great striker in Whittaker in a round and a half but you can't take out Strickland literally standing in front of you for 50 wins barely throwing anything.

It's like he just doesn't want to take any risk yet Sean has f*** all power to badly hurt ddp.

He's not some defensive wizard tho it's like ddp is ultra aggressive against everyone but Sean.

He was saying post fight he was going for the ko but he fought cautious af.
He fights Sean like he's fighting ngannou for some reason.
