Rampage recently fought Beltran at HW in Bellator.
Serious question- Is it normal for lower level MMA fighters to be delusional about their standing in the sport? I know we talk about confidence being key for fighters, but we're usually referring to the elite guys that have a reason for their confidence. I would think the journeymen, non-UFC caliber fighters, who have accrued a lot of losses, would be more realistic about their capabilities.
Rampage had no right to pick on Schoonover. That's for sure, and it reflects poorly on him as person. However, I dislike Schoonover as well for not understanding he's nowhere near Rampage's level. He's disrespecting the sport for thinking he would have a chance in hell against Rampage.
Yes. Get yourself AXSTV and listen to some of the bush league guys talk about themselves on Fridays in their prefight vignettes. Unintentional hilarity on a weekly basis. The occassional ones they do from the UK are the worst about it.
AXSTV? Go watch yourself some reservation fights, average joes pulled in from the casino's get a mic put infront of them, talk a bunch of crap then end up getting KO'd in 15 seconds by the promotions 8-0 goldenboy.
