I have to agree with DC. A few years ago I would have said that Jon would be running that division if he moved up. But now that he's been so inactive recently I don't think that he has it in him to beat guys like Francis or Gane anymore. I I still think that Jones would be in the top 10-top 5 though. Just not the champ.

I would be hyped if somehow D.C. came out of retirement and Jon does make it to fighting at heavy weight. Let's say Jon loses to Nganno or Game and then fights d.c. trying to redeem himself and gets cracked by d.c.

DC coming back is probably the only way Jones ever fights at HW.. or if Stipe gets the title back somehow.

We could fantasize about it 5 years ago but now he had so many chances its very obvious that he just doesnt have what it takes at HW otherwise he would have challenged for the title of fought a lower level HW years ago to get into the weightclass.

I honestly and truly think if I take the steroids that Jon took, even at my age, I really think I could win the LHW belt especially if I’m allowed to gouge people in the eyes and here is how: I took boxing since 12-19, wrestling 14-25, Japanese jitz on and off 5 years, MT 3 years so I’m 210 natural with athletic built and very good genes. 6:2 in height. So imagine if I took all those PEDS? Oh forgot to tell you the most important thing is my iron fist which I trained 10 years. 10 long years of hitting sand, wood and soft metal! This post makes zero sense. What do you mean by he has to actually fight? Jones last few oppopents were very capable of finishing him, but simply just weren't able to due to bad gameplan or well Bones's fight IQ.

The Ngannou fight worries me more since he's a strong hitter, but I felt the same about his fight with Thiago Santos.. what happens if Ngannou doesn't get that one KO shot? Bones would have the experience to take him to the later rounds and gas Ngannou out.

Bones will win the HW title. His fight IQ is just too good.
