Now you read minds huh?
Fuck Garry anyway, that dumbass is overrated. Wannabe D-level Conor impersonator.
Well that parts true. Thats why he should wanna kick his ass

I call BS.

If Thompson had fought and won a decision against Michel, we'd be hearing something like "we don't make fights the night of the ppv, u guys!", just like we always do. I think he's absolutely lying through his teeth, and getting ready to feed Thompson to a wrestler after fucking with the program. I didn't think he would, but that answer was mad sus. Thompson would love a matchup like Garry and I don't see why he'd turn it down.

The closest version of the truth is something like this: Dana offered him a fight against Garry immediately, and at a date way too soon, maybe the shallow australia card, trying for a fast turnaround for Garry who is uninjured and building steam quickly now.

This at least forms the kernel of truth that can be manipulated in order to claim "thompson doesn't want the fight", setting the precedent for him to be promptly fed to Rinat if he beats Eizeau Dos Santos

Wonder boy is in no position to say a an Ian garry fight offer is ‘too soon.’ Yeah he had a camp where he cut weight big whoop, if ian cut weight and fought tonight and is willing to fight wonderboy at years end, how bad does it look for wonderboy to turn it down? Especially after all the talk about wanting to fight strikers

Wonder boy was offered the fight with Garry after the weigh ins against Perreira, then Dana acts like they offered him the fight tonight.

All these young guys in their prime calling out 40 year olds, yeah real bad ass hahahah.....If he had any balls, he would have called out Shavkat, but he does not want that smoke,

No need to give the douchebag any oxygen. Listening to Garry's post-presser, he thinks he would run through Colby and the rest of the top 10. Colby would fuck this idiot up big time.

Na he doesn't. He said in the presser he needs 3-4 more fights for a title shot and that he has a lot of work to do on his grappling, and will be flying directly back to Brazil to work on his Jiu-Jitsu.

But yes he did say he wants to fight Colby eventually. If that's in a year and half Colby will be what? 37 or 38? And Garry would be 26. I'd favor Garry.

I think Wonderboy probably did turn down the fight, because why tf would he want to fight the UFC's latest hype job on ten days notice so soon after he cut weight for Pereira?

There is no way this isn't tied up in the ongoing thing about WB's show money for the Peirera fight - the way this guy lies on his own fighters to break them down actually disgusts me. I come from a boxing background and am used to promoters being lying sacks of shit but I've never seen one as utterly detrimental to the guys actually under contract with him as fuckface here.

WB should fight somebody ranked higher. Why would he have any interest on fighting cringelord Garry?

I don't understand how WB has fans. He is an industry plant. He is an extremely boring fighter that rarely ever fights. He always cries about wanting the belt while not wanting fights that are unfavorable in his eyes. Apparently he wants to be paid the most while being boring, get the belt and also duck contenders. You can only have one of those things. Get paid a lot while being exciting or fight anyone on the way to the belt. Yet he wants to boring while fighting for top money and also ducking everyone at the same time. A straight up clown.

If he was some random from central asia with his skills, he wouldn't even be in the UFC. He is the definition of an ungrateful prick. The only reason he is in his position is because he is a good looking American.

His show money is more than everyone on the card combined. Do you think Connor would get PPV points if he didn't fight? It's a stupid argument.

He would get his money if it was the company average but it isn't. There is no way he should be getting paid that much for just showing up while dodging other fights the UFC makes for him instead. He didn't want to fight Peirera but also doesn't want to fight other fighters on new cards.

Wonderboy probably just wants to negotiate. Get paid for his missed fight and the main event.
Dana trying to cheap out and only pay Wonderboy once.

WB is on record saying he doesn't want to fight wrestlers. UFC needs to make money off his name and build up and comers so they are rightfully mad when a non-contender is cherry picking fights.

I think Wonderboy will take it if you offer him a full camp. Wonderboy Vs Garry 5 round headliner in Dublin sounds good to me.

Its a shame because its a good matchup
