If true sounds like there’s definitely a lot of tension between both sides. However, I kinda doubt it, it’s exactly the kind of fight Thompson has said he’s looking for. And there’s zero chance they have him anything more than a vague offer at this point. Dana one to say they don’t want to fight when they don’t accept their terms.

Wonderboy was adamant about not fighting an overweight fighter, what makes you think he would take an opponent on short notice? He seems like he's risk averse compared to how he used to be. He probably would love to fight Garry after he's ranked above him and has a training camp to prepare specifically for him. Dana lies, but he also says the truth more often than not.
 
Probably a load of shit but even if it isn't, why even mention it? Why does Dana have to continually through them under the bus? He now puts Wonderboy in the unfortunate position where he has to defend himself and justify why he couldn't fight.
 
Could be Wonder Boy asked the UFC to finish up arranging his pay for the cancelled fight earlier on, and Dana being Dana said that he said no

Guys a Judo black belt who married into the most successful BJJ Family on the planet. ( Machado's are cousins to the Gracies.) I get it though the 2022 join date and the fruit loop in your profile picture tells me everything I need to know about you. Thompson has been around the block and I'm sure his father has had his share of having to deal with promoters of negotiable integrity so he won't be pressured into a fight where he is not as fully prepared as possible . Thompson knows he has a name that fills seats but dont expect him to go through 2 weight cuts in less than 3 weeks at the whim of the Old Slapper White * . White reportedly has a net worth of over 500 million ... he didn't make that from being generous to the fighters.

It would seem Thompson's next fight is likely against someone that will have better wrestling and grappling than him be it Ian Garry , Shavkat or Usman . At 40 years of age making weight is not easy so why not fight on your own terms especially when he really doesn't need the money .

* White is a mouthpiece for the real decision makers in the UFC .

Go do your own research clearly your only a fan of MMA because you like Japanese cartoons and sexually assaulting dogs. Learn some of these guys backgrounds before moving on from Facebook MMA groups at least sheesh.
