imagine he threw with full power and fists instead of open hand slaps. Plant would have been koed in an instant. if a boxer decides to start a streefight, its over 90% of the time no matter what skill the other guy has.

I was always under the impression that boxing/kickboxing was considered the most effective art in a street fight. Most people don't know how to punch, and the last place you want to be in a street fight is on the ground (in fear of having somebody run up and soccer kick you). Plus, if you strike, you can take on multiple attackers, while wrestling/grappling will limit you to taking on one person at a time. I could have sworn that Rogan did a podcast about this years ago.
