Media Dana White on his Instagram:I'm not telling anyone the location

It would be dumb to name a location and then have Luke Thomas shut it down.

We dont need to know the location idk why everyone is so worried about it.

Well, all reservation casinos are shut down BUT they are on federal trust land and most of them are not under the jurisdiction of whatever state they are in so I guess Trump can give the ok to have it. His best bet would be the reservations in southern florida (like Miccosukee) because they have a small number of people (thus no massive outbreaks), big facilities capable of tv productions and they were some of the last casinos to shut down under social pressure.

He may pull this off, since khabib said he was ready and would fight, if they give him a location. I think they will announce with 10 days left.

So with everything going on does Dana really have a location or multiple set up that are in place and can actually accommodate for this event?

I believe he does and does not want to disclose due to media backlash and the possibility the media/ law could have it shut down. Thoughts?

What makes you think law couldnt shut it down whenever it’s announced ? Even if announced the last day (assuming he can get a permit in any city to begin with).

249 should have been cancelled. Instead there is a secret location that the fighters don't know about two weeks out from the fight in the middle of a pandemic.

Dana has put the onus on the fighters to show up wherever he chooses on the last minute and risk their safety. If a fighter does not want to go through with it then they get called out for it.

Of course you have a group that doesn't give a shit about anyone else but themselves and just want to see them fight no matter what.

He's going to call khabib the day of the fight, you have half an hour to hop on a plane and make it to butt fuck nowhere. It you don't show up it's your fault

More likely is that he calls Tony the day of the fight and tells him the fight is in Dagestan. When Tony says he can't make it in time because the flight itself wouldn't land by that night, Dana blames him and announces that Tony didn't want to fight and that Conor vs Khabib is in Sept.

Dana is desperate to prove the naysayers wrong but his options are becoming narrower as each day passes. Of course he will never admit this and keeps stubbornly pushing for April 18. But the logistics of putting on an event during a global pandemic are more complicated than Dana thinks. He’s going to need a miracle to pull this off.

The UFC cancelled 3 cards leading up to UFC 249 which includes the April 11 card.

I think Dana invisioned, based on early models, that the virus would peak before UFC 249 and that is why he keeps leading us all on.

I seriously doubt 249 will happen, as Dana suggests.

If he really had a location he'd tell Khabib to have him fly over and save the main event, before even that gets impossible. I'm sure he has potential options but no confirmed locations

Chances are he doesn't, so probably he's hoping he can find one and just being quiet about it. It doesn't make ANY sense to not tell your fighters about it, let alone your biggest start/main attraction.
