There's never been a less worthy run back besides mcgregor. Meanwhile you have Aldo lose with a lucky punch after 10 years of dominance but no run back. Lol @ the UFC.

If i want to see unskilled violence, i can watch a local MMA or kickboxing show. This fight however wasnt worthy of a titlefight.
Women aren't is skilled as men so it was worthy of a women's title fight

We still have no idea why Nunes performed like a C level fighter last night. Was it one night off, bad weight cut, incomplete training camp, no trainee camp... Do you still pick Nunes to beat Penna, or is Nunes done for some unknown reason to us?
She performed just like she always does.. woman’s mma in general is just that poor lol

Nunes. It's just one of those fights where I think one opponent completely under performed and is capable of much better. Nunes by TKO.

For everyone saying Nunez, who had her in this fight?

I had Pena and i'll say her again in the rematch
EVeryone. She was a -1100 favorite. She was as big of a favorite as Tyson in his prime.

It was weird seeing Nunes get punched in the face repeatedly in Round 2, especially the Ronda-esque striking that Pena displayed in the first round.

Something was definitely off
THat thing was hillarious, like all of a sudden Nunes forgot how to fight.

It looks like her in the first round. The thing is that Peña actually kept moving forward instead of backing away like others has done, GDR showed that Núñez is hittable if you throw punches back and stand your ground as she comes in.
Just watch Nunes obliterate Cyborg, who was coming forward all the time. Cyborg was widely considered the wmma goat, until she fougth nunes, now she is #2.

"making up" lmfao
Yes making up. Apparently there is a Goat in every Division and every generation. Why so we even need to have a Womens Goat? I can already see people proclaiming Pena the Goat, if she wins the rematch. If these titles are what excites you, then this fight might seem appealing to you. I personally like it more when the so called Goat is able to dodge or defend a simple jab.

We could break it down to the ridiculous but I still say..... Tko or decision loss, no rematch right away
Oh I am not an advocate at all. I hate immediate rematches unless its a borderline robbery. I am just saying the UFC is a fucking joke as far as consistency goes.

We all feel that way . So many undeserved rematches

Woodley lost a decision after holding the belt for years and didn't get shit.

There zero chance Amanda will willingly run into Penas jab like a Bugs Bunny cartoon again.

Why is there zero chance? If you've never gotten jabbed, you never had to figure out how to get past it. Nunes has never had to learn striking fundamentals because she's had really lousy competition, and winging big hard punches has always been good enough for her.

I can't see Nunes making that same mistake twice, she'll respect Pena more this time round.

lmao its so true too. i bet aldo is pissed

Nunes not having a brain fart should take this 9/10

I think that was her downfall. She clearly didn't train very hard (based on her cardio) and props to Pena for surviving the first round. After that she looked like she was on auto pilot and the finish was just embarrassing. After being such a dominant champ for so long, I would think this loss would light that fire back under her at least for the rematch.

It's never "zero" chance. But claiming Nunes has never learned "striking fundamentals" is laughable. She's fought much better competition than Pena and up to the last fight destroyed all of them during her title reign. If you've watched her other fights she isn't always winging punches. In fact she beat Cyborg and Ronda with quick, straight punches. Were they lousy competition?
