Media Dana Hints USADA reason for Rumble Leaving

when reentering the program, athletes can declare prior use. if they flag for anything declared, they aren't sanctioned. but they can't fight. usada only discloses sanctions.

there's no certainty as to what happened here.

'There's no certainty'

Oh, by that standard, everybody's on steroids.

How about evidence, got any of that?

It'd be hilarious to have Rumble get choke dout his first fight back with all this hype around him. He has been out 3 years and hasn't won in nearly 5, so keep that in mind as well.

i'm just letting you know the process. just reentering the testing pool doesn't prove his samples were clean. fighting after entering the testing pool proves his samples were clean.

And I'm saying that automatically concluding Rumble has been on PEDs since retiring is ridiculous.

Could he have? Yeah, as I said he may have been eating six meals a day of GNC protein and whatever else they sell that's now on the USADA banned list, which is constantly adding additional ingredients annually. What he was consuming after retiring nearly four years ago may not have been on the banned list then, but is now, and a few picograms may be in his system... (if you believe USADA's Jones story).

But that's pure speculation based off of Rumble's weightlifting pictures, which most people I've seen on this thread are pulling their speculation straight out of their ass.

What we now know is Rumble never popped by USADA when he was in the UFC, and now he know he doesn't want to be in the UFC. Dana, who most people on this forum agree talks out his ass about everything that's inconvenient for him to give a truthful answer, implies Rumble is afraid of USADA and those same people that don't believe Dana with anything he says now believes Dana is being completely and sarcastically truthful.

Wow... so many on this forum are so gullible.
I don't remember saying Rumble was on PED's. My statement was a general one about PED use in the UFC during USADA era and I stand by it. I agree with your BMI/fat face statement. That happened to me when I gained weight. I wasn't on PED's unless someone was putting hormones in my Shake Shack and pizza with pepperoni.

Just watched the video. If he was “hinting” at that, the hint wasn’t very obvious. Also, if rumble did in fact tell the ufc he needed out of his contract due to PED’s, Dana was very respectful when questioned about it.

He wasn't under USADA during his "retirement" was he? If that's when he roided up, that's when he would have tested dirty, no?

not sure what you mean. he wasn't under usada when he was retired. he reentered the testing pool this year.

if he declared prior use upon reentry, and flagged for those substances, he's not sanctioned, can't fight, and nothing is publicly disclosed. if he didn't flag, he's not sanctioned, can fight, nothing disclosed.

so we don't know.

Yeah, I'm sure none of it has to do with this class-action lawsuit against Dana and Co.
<LucyBless>

?

What does that have to do with anything? Rumble isn't one of the primary named plaintiffs in the suit (in fact no active UFC fighters currently are).

He could potentially be included as its a class action suit but he has never been involved in it.

Dana for sure would be banned on Sherdog

Rumble must be pulsing all those picograms from his time pumping iron and taking stuff.

With muscle fueled by steroids?

You have no idea what you're talking about.

That just says he ate WAY more calories than he needed to and his face got fat. It happens to everyone with a BMI that large.

oh get out of here. It is well known that highly androgenic steroids aromatize into estrogen and one of the consequences of that is bloat from water retention.

How do you not know this?

Dana is a bum.

His entire life he's trying to get Fedor in the UFC and Coker got him twice (SF and Bellator) <45>

Coker >>> Dana

Dana wasn't willing to "co-promote" with M1 the first time, and he wasn't willing to grant Fedor's terms the second time. Plus I think Fedor wanted to be part of RIZIN which Bellator could do but UFC couldn't.

But if you really think Coker is better than Dana, explain why the UFC has a much higher annual revenue than Bellator. Please. I'll wait.

Dana White - I'm all about signing the best fighters in the world. The guys I look at and say that guy might be champ one day.

Also Dana White: We signed CM Punk.

What a goof.

They paid Ortiz 300k
Yes they did. Not 500k

Coker always overpaid big named old guys. What's the most he has paid anyone in Bellator? Biggest I could even find is Ortiz and Fedor at 300k. Rumble is not getting three times as much as the champs in Bellator. There is this massive myth that Bellator pays so amazing because they stole a couple guys. They actually pay way worse than the ufc almost all the time

Rumble showed his ceiling when he was active in MMA - he was a front-runner with KO power and decent wrestling, but no answer for when the opponent didn't crumble or when Rumble found himself on the ground.

Now, after several years of inactivity, it's doubtful he would bring anything new or meaningful to the sport.

As fun as it would be to see him stand-n-bang with Walker/Jiri, etc, it's unlikely that he would have it in him to put together a title run and (if he did win the belt) be able to defend it.

Doesn't take much imagination to think Dana was being a cheap fuck again.
