I agree with Dana on one thing. Bellator isn't the number 2 promotion. That's bellators marketing and due to them signing former ufc fighters I think aca has better talent than pfl. I think it's really sprinkled everywhere.

Again, if he declared prior use to usada upon reentering the pool, he can flag for those substances and not get sanctioned. We’d never know about it. They only report sanctions. But he wouldn’t be eligible to fight.

And again, this says he was under contract. Which means he can’t field offers from bellator without consent from the ufc. This wasn’t just a bidding war. Something prompted Johnson asking for consent to get out. Without an offer from someone else. And the ufc had reason to let him.

I dont think Rumble reallyy has that many marbles in his brain to really reflect on these things but at the time he was retired and did not plan on coming back. He had business ventures that did not play out. And why shouldnt he talk about it? there are no consequences.

Also, since when does Dana cut a fighter of that caliber loose because they might pop? If he did pop, we would know it by now. We wouldn’t be talking about him fighting early next year. Dana also doesn’t mind keeping fighters under control while they are on suspension.

He probably didn’t have that many fights left in his deal, 2 or maybe 1 and Dana knows he doesn’t have the guns at LHW right now to have him in a disadvantage to lock him down to one of those 8 fights deals. In fact, Rumble would be a heavy favorite against each and every one of them. So, let him go..imply something and let the shills go to work

Honestly I'm surprised they didn't cuckold Rumble with his contract for a year. Ufc is usually are terrible about holding up someone's career just because they can.
Reading your comments makes me think Rumble maybe pushed them into getting him 2020 fight for the end of his contract and they didn't fill their obligation.

We really don’t know how much they get from sponsors. The ufc guys will have the greater reach. They can’t sponsor in the cage but they can pitch through social media. Lamas has 2x the Twitter followers as 2 division champ pitbull.
