Media Dana Hints USADA reason for Rumble Leaving

USADA hurting the UFC yet again, and helping the competition. Damn man, let them juice and bang. Pro sports deserve athletes that are willing to shorten their lives to be the best they can be in their primes.
what if you dont want to juice? you should be penalized?

Doesn't take much imagination to think Dana was being a cheap fuck again.

I just don't think they thought Rumble was worth the price tag anymore. He was out of MMa for 3 years, and hasn't won a fight in 5. 500k is a high tag for someone who could come back and look like shit.

rumble's last disclosed payout was a 135/135 contract.

When you actually watch the video it just sees more like Dana being Dana for the sake of being Dana.

I think the reality is more likely that they didn't want to pay Rumble as much as he wanted not knowing what type of shape/skill he was going to come back at. And letting him go to Bellator at more money is win/win because if he sucks there, no big loss. And if he's good, then they can bring him back as a title challenger. Saying "use your imagination" also makes Dana look less cheap and helps the "we're not a monopoly" argument.

Said nothing about USADA.

Bader is over there. Bader is an easy target to take all his candy.

Why would that be a reason? There are many UFC fighters on PEDs that aren’t getting caught, Rumble would probably be the same risk of getting caught as 90% of the roster.

Did he test positive on a drug test? No? Then nobody cares

No matter how obvious it may be, nobody cares unless there's a positive test

You realize he talked about it on video? He admitted it himself. That would be enough evidence in my country to get him a ban in track and field, swimming, road racing, running...etc

I thought u meant Dan for second and was like WTF

The goof's ego is so big, that he had to throw in that last sentence. Every fucken time, he does it with fighters under contact, let alone contract-less ones

if you think rumble was taking supplements that usada had on it banned list than your crazy. bellaor couldnt care less about drug testing.

Rumble looks like he's injecting the steroids right in his head.

Talk about being megacephalic.

Surely baldstepfather isn't throwing sour grapes shade....

If any of Rumbles is true its way worse then Hardy and is on going. Also I think the e-sports cut ties with him.
Then in that case why not cut conor - he's done just as bad if not worse than rumble?

I saw an article with quotes where Dana made it sound like AJ had to leave UFC because of drug test failure. "He wanted to stay with UFC" kind of thing, "that's his personal business".

Pretty sure Bellator is paying him a shit ton
Bellator could have all sorts of currently elite UFC caliber fighters still in or near their prime, but can't seem to get the big time viewership no matter what.

He was asked about whether it was due to money negotiations and with a big grin on his face he said "ask him, see if he wants to talk about it". Generally, if money is the issue, Dana goes out of his way to discard (the skills of) the leaving fighter or rants on said fighter having passed his prime etc. This felt more like "he failed a drug test and we let him go, but I'm only going to say it without saying".
