Are you stupid? Unlike Islam, Topuria has SEVERAL worthy challengers. Evloev is 19-0 (9-0 UFC), in his prime and has never fought for a title before. Diego Lopes 26-6 (5 fight win streak) also in his prime and his only loss in the organization was short notice to Evloev, in a competitive fight. Even Jean Silva is looking like a monster on the rise.

I've been saying this too. Ilia has work to be done at 145. Until he defeats Lopes & Evloev, he hasn't cleared out his division. Imo champion vs champion fights shouldn't happen until both fighters have cleared out their divisions. 155 has been gutted, but there's still work to be done at 145 without doubt.

Yeah, but you have to take everything into account, like the fact that Volk is old and just got chin checked twice in arow. I mean sure if you wanna watch that happen again go ahead, but dude‘s got no chance, Ilija is a nightmare matchup for him.. How many featherweights won a title at that age? The answer is zero.

Besides Volk EARNED his rematch. All longhorn champs get rematches. There is no reason that he should be stripped of his.
