These dudes better put their money where their mouth is, proverbially. Shit could get real real and that's what the people want, the sane people anyway. They don't need Trump to tell them how or what to do.

Why are we? What happened during the years in that poll that pushed the numbers that direction? I'd wager that a losing Presidential candidate that spent every waking moment pushing every insane CT he could about both agencies had a lot to do with it. The dumbest being the idea that the fucking FBI is some haven for woke leftists targeting Trump.

Regardless, Dan Bongino is in no way qualified for the role he's been given.

I'll put it this way:

Try going into an interview for a management job at a company and telling the interviewer that you have experience in the field. When they ask for more details, you answer "well, I worked for a company somewhat related to the field 12 years ago".

They ask what you've done in the 12 years in between related to this job and you answer "nothing, but I do say really nice things about you on a daily basis".

In any sort of MERITOCRACY that person would be laughed out of the room and someone actually qualified would fill that position. But here we are.

I never claimed Bongo was "qualified", though. I just said it was disingenuous to dismiss him as a mere podcaster when a large part of his career has been spent as a police officer and federal agent tasked with protecting the POTUS. The FBI is still as shit as it was yesterday, and I'll be glad to have a whole swath of Dems come to agree.

"Large" meaning his career ending in 2011. You ever try to apply to a job based on something you did 14 years ago?

The FBI is now a direct enforcement arm of the President with no oversight within the organization. If you think that's the same as "yesterday" you are ignorant of what this means.
