I’m not disagreeing. Just pointing out his life on the radio is lackluster. It's disingenuous as hell to refer to him merely to as some grifting podcaster, though. He's former NYPD and Secret Service special agent who served in the Presidential Protection Division, FFS.
It’s sad to think that popular opinion is simply due to “propaganda” versus an institution being in the wrongPublic opinion is propaganda.

We understood completely and my point still stands.LOL
I'm talking about how they came to form that opinion. I'm kind of astounded you two fail to understand that.
Yeah, of course you did.We understood completely and my point still stands.
If an institution fails to gain the trust of the public it’s not simply due to propaganda
Considering that was the basis for my previous comment, yes.LOL yeah, sure you did.
Considering that was the basis for my previous comment, yes.
The FBI, CIA, NSA and ATF are all unworthy of trust.
No, I don’t trust them ever. Not before, not now.Uh huh, until ideological loyalists who have a position of seeking political vengeance are placed at the heads of them?
GTFOH.
There has almost never been an actual Democrat at the head of any of these agencies. There has been a saying as long as I've been alive: "Only Republicans are allowed to investigate anything." That saying exists because investigative agency Directors have always been Republicans, even ones Trump came to hate. Now that goalpost is moved and it can only be Trump loyalists.
Bongino is an idiot who regularly gets owned in political debate. He was NYPD? Who gives a f*ck. That's one of the most corrupt departments in the Country. He was a Secret Service agent? Cool, any leadership positions? NOPE. Closest to that was he was a trainer for field officers.
"Bongino was criticized by former colleagues at the Secret Service for using his Secret Service background as part of his run for political office and for his claim of having secret information based on conversations he overheard in the Obama White House. A former colleague criticized him for trying to use his proximity to President Barack Obama in his political career: "He's trying to draw attention to himself and he's hijacking the Secret Service brand. That's all he's got going for him." Bongino said he had access to "high-level discussions" in the White House."
Oh look he tried to embellish his service for political clout. Whaddya know?
Patel already proved incompetent in the first term of Trump's Presidency.
This will just turn the FBI into a Keystone Cop organization who will likely f*ck with American Citizens for disloyalty. Because freedom.
Hijacking the secret service brand huh? Maybe he can handle walking on slanty roofs? Well I guess you have something else to cry about. Better take it to Facebook to confirm your fears.Uh huh, until ideological loyalists who have a position of seeking political vengeance are placed at the heads of them?

Why are we at this place?
This is the stupid shit the glorified cops at the FBI entertain themselves with. You know, when they aren't tipping off transnational gangs - foreign terrorist organizations - about planned ICE raids in sanctuary cities to protect the precious illegal migrant criminals.
It's no wonder.
Why are we? What happened during the years in that poll that pushed the numbers that direction? I'd wager that a losing Presidential candidate that spent every waking moment pushing every insane CT he could about both agencies had a lot to do with it. The dumbest being the idea that the fucking FBI is some haven for woke leftists targeting Trump.
Regardless, Dan Bongino is in no way qualified for the role he's been given.
I'll put it this way:
Try going into an interview for a management job at a company and telling the interviewer that you have experience in the field. When they ask for more details, you answer "well, I worked for a company somewhat related to the field 12 years ago".
They ask what you've done in the 12 years in between related to this job and you answer "nothing, but I do say really nice things about you on a daily basis".
In any sort of MERITOCRACY that person would be laughed out of the room and someone actually qualified would fill that position. But here we are.
I never claimed Bongo was "qualified", though. I just said it was disingenuous to dismiss him as a mere podcaster when a large part of his career has been spent as a police officer and federal agent tasked with protecting the POTUS. The FBI is still as shit as it was yesterday, and I'll be glad to have a whole swath of Dems come to agree.
