You don’t beat jones with that style. Jones is bigger. Longer. Better at everything.
Better striker than gane ? Better jabbers than gane ?! Llllmmmmmaaaaooooo

Jones is not a better striker, at all.You don’t beat jones with that style. Jones is bigger. Longer. Better at everything.

he does every facet of mma better.
Ganes too fast and too big imo. I'll take Gane all day long.I would like to see this fight set up immediately. I think it would be a perfect first hw fight for Jon and a huge popularity boost for gane, who I could see someday being the champ for a long time once ngannou/jones are gone.
I think jones wins a decision pretty handily, they actually have pretty similar mindsets and styles as far as being very controlled. If im the matchmaker I make this fight asap with the the winner guaranteed the next ts.
It's an absolute win win. If jon wins then you got him warmed up to fight ngannou, Cyril doesn't lose anything getting beat by jon, and comes out as a bigger name still right on the cusp of a ts. If gane wins jon has the built in excuse he never should have fought at hw and hes still the best 205er in the world, and gane v ngannou gets way more hype behind it.
Who do you think wins and how?
Then he would be a fool not to use his only advantage to win right?I'm not saying that Jones would be unjustified in doing so - I'm just making a statement of fact that that would be the clearest and probably only advantage he has over gane in terms of skills.
Jabs and leg kicks to a decision. I don't think it'll be a "beatdown".Jones can only win this via wrestling (if he can get Gane down, that is)
If he doesn't get Gane down, he's in for the worst beatdown of his life (unless he faces Ngannou afterwards).
Ye ye i know "GaNe Is A pOiNt FiGhTeR" but only against other big ass and dangerous heavyweight strikers. Jones won't have the power or speed to threaten Gane, hence the latter would run through the former if it stays on the feet.
Against someone who's a natural 205er and has a significant amount of his best victories against natural 185ers?Jabs and leg kicks to a decision. I don't think it'll be a "beatdown".
That's basically what u am saying man...Then he would be a fool not to use his only advantage to win right?
like gane would prefer to strike since he’s the better striker…
I thought you were digging at JonesThat's basically what u am saying man...

I disagree with you.
Gane is imo only catious on the feet against dangerous strikers, but Jones isn't one of those, certainly not at heavyweight.
I think Jon's road to victory would be wrestling but if that doesn't work Gane eats him alive imo.
I'm no fan of Jones and I think he is moving to hw to avoid losing his unbeaten record at lhw but in this case I was describing his obvious route to gain advantage over gane.I thought you were digging at Jones
my bad
Yeah, my thoughts exactly.Jones had a lot of trouble with his last two fights where his opponents used kickboxing against them. Gane is bigger and is probably longer than them (with one of them hampered with cruciate teats). so he would likely have even more trouble.
Compare the length of Jones' opponents and that of Gane's opponents. Is gane really a better kicker than Jon Jones?
Jones and Stipe are tougher fights for Gane than Ngannou. With Gane constantly jabbing and kicking you, it'll be a lot tougher for Francis to be a patient striker like he was in the rematch against Stipe. I would not be surprised if Ngannou does what he did in the first Stipe fight and try to head hunt in the first round after getting frustrated with Gane. Anyways, we still don't know how Ngannou's cardio will hold up for five rounds. Stipe and Jones have proved they can fight for five rounds.
