I would like to see this fight set up immediately. I think it would be a perfect first hw fight for Jon and a huge popularity boost for gane, who I could see someday being the champ for a long time once ngannou/jones are gone.

I think jones wins a decision pretty handily, they actually have pretty similar mindsets and styles as far as being very controlled. If im the matchmaker I make this fight asap with the the winner guaranteed the next ts.

It's an absolute win win. If jon wins then you got him warmed up to fight ngannou, Cyril doesn't lose anything getting beat by jon, and comes out as a bigger name still right on the cusp of a ts. If gane wins jon has the built in excuse he never should have fought at hw and hes still the best 205er in the world, and gane v ngannou gets way more hype behind it.

Who do you think wins and how?

Jones can only win this via wrestling (if he can get Gane down, that is)

If he doesn't get Gane down, he's in for the worst beatdown of his life (unless he faces Ngannou afterwards).
Ye ye i know "GaNe Is A pOiNt FiGhTeR" but only against other big ass and dangerous heavyweight strikers. Jones won't have the power or speed to threaten Gane, hence the latter would run through the former if it stays on the feet.

Jones and Stipe are done.
Jones and Stipe are tougher fights for Gane than Ngannou. With Gane constantly jabbing and kicking you, it'll be a lot tougher for Francis to be a patient striker like he was in the rematch against Stipe. I would not be surprised if Ngannou does what he did in the first Stipe fight and try to head hunt in the first round after getting frustrated with Gane. Anyways, we still don't know how Ngannou's cardio will hold up for five rounds. Stipe and Jones have proved they can fight for five rounds.

This x1000

Gane is a nightmare matchup for Ngannou. Ngannou will be punching air for 2 rounds, then just be a punching bag for the rest of the fight while Gane picks him apart.

LOL, do you imagine jones vs gane, volkov, stipe or francis? i not, jones never would have the balls ¡¡¡¡ he never will fight in hws ¡¡¡¡¡

Nice bias. He’s literally better at everything all of those guys you mentioned. By far against much steeper competition.

How would the 40 year old dc do against those guys which is back and knees are gone and win titles without his main weapon.

ufc fans are retarded.

Yes, imagine resorting to grappling in a sport where grappling is allowed.

I'm not saying that Jones would be unjustified in doing so - I'm just making a statement of fact that that would be the clearest and probably only advantage he has over gane in terms of skills.

Pillow hands isn't giving anyone their worst beatdown.

He rarely commits to his punches.

A 245 pound guy who flying knees as high as anyone in the UFC and is that fast doesn't have a lack of power, especially not compared to a natural 205er who himself fought lots of natural 185ers.
