Nobody worth a damn is at 145. 135 is the weight class. A class she can't make. Take what the UFC gives you. A fight with Amanda will do well.. I personally believe that 125 and 135 will always be the premiere class for the women. Never 145. Fat ass women will fight there..

Cris is great and all and likely won’t be challenged but doesnt do anything for me as the consumer to wanna watch her fight. The 145lb division sucks and will continue to suck.

The "division" was an abortion to begin with and it's long past time to shitcan it.

They had nothing to lose. The women in the UFC at 135 who are ranked get paid decently. Why would they want to get their asses kicked by Cyborg when they can fight a lower caliber opponent for similar pay? Should I fight Jessica Eye for 50k or fight Cris Cyborg. The answer is pretty clear.

Put another way, they could fight a woman who weighs 155 on fight night or they could fight a woman who weighs 175 on fight night, for the same price either way.

No doubt there are fighters afraid of Cyborg because she A) is likely o beat them and thus hurt their career and b) could bash their heads. But most would simply prefer not to fight at a massive size disadvantage.

Am I the only one who doesn't know who Pam Sorenson is ?

Some people do and some people don't. If you follow Invicta you will have seen her fight.

Sorenson used to try and fight at bantamweight but she is big for that division, often missed weight when trying to fight at 135lbs much like Katharina Lehner (7-0 Invicta fighter from Germany whose last fight in Invcta she missed weight by 5lbs and last fought at 145lbs in Europe).

Sorenson started fighting at featherweight a few years ago now and has a record of 7-2. Her biggest wins are against current UFC flyweights, both former bantamweights themselves. First is Nicco Montano, the current UFC flyweight champion. The other is Australian Jessica (Jessy Jess) Rose-Clark. She has some other decent wins, most recently against journeywoman fighter Jan Finney.

Sorenson's losses are to Shanna Young (4-0) who hasn't fought in several years, I think she had an injury. And Ediane Gomes (11-4) both by split decision.

Leibrock is 2-1 as a pro now. First pro win was against Ronda Rousey friend and fellow judo player Marina Shaffir, her loss is to Megan Anderson. Leibrock has been signed to Bellator recently away from Invicta. Her debut in Bellator has been postponed due to Alexis Dufrense, once again, missing weight.
