For the record I think she's right, and if there's going to be a FW division, FW fighters need to get kicks at the can. Nunes is not the fight to make, for the good of that division.

That's kind of her point. Not saying I agree with her approach to the problem, typically I dislike champs cherry picking fights. But if she loses to Nunes then that's pretty damning for the women's 145 division.

1. This was the same reasoning that kept the UFC from pitting Rousey against her years ago. Had Rousey lost, it would have doomed the fledgling 135lb division.

Cyborg fans and Cyborg herself were pretty understanding then, so I think they should be treated with the same respect now.

2. Of course, another way to look at it is that Cyborg was in a big hurry to fight unranked and undersized bantamweights at a catchweight of 140, but now is having second thoughts when it comes to facing a more serious threat.

Cyborg is probably the best female MMA fighter of her generation, but her career has been run in way that it is always easy to take her decisions in the worst way.
