I just looked up Cindy Dandois' record and she has fought twice since Nov 25 (both wins). Maybe Dana should have given her a shot at 145 before cutting her, but that fight with Alexis Davis looked very amateurish.

If the UFC can't give cyborg real competition at 145 without emptying out other divisions they shouldn't have 145 at all.

Why they ever created that division is beyond me. Since it began the UFC has hilariously not been able to list rankings because there is like 2-3 women in at a time. And most of her potential opponents are not even in the UFC. It's a complete joke.

I agree, that's always a possibility. I just can't see the division going far as long as Cyborg is on board. She's extremely dangerous in all aspects so women won't be lining up to fight her all too often if they have something to lose. Her past few opponents fought her in the UFC because they wanted to join the UFC and it was the fastest way to get in/stay in by taking one for the team.

If I was a WMMA fighter I wouldn't want to fight her either. Too much risk and very little reward.

From a financial stand point Holly Holm did the right thing. Holms is at the end of her career and it's best to cash in with every big opportunity that comes her way. She still has a big enough name from beating Ronda all these years later. It was a good play by her for stalling the fight until the UFC was willing to pay her a lot more. She made close to 400k with everything included.

Will other women be lining up to get their asses kicked for 50k? I sure as hell wouldn't. They would be better off fighting Jessica Eye or Bethe at 135.

Yeah you're totally right, too much damage for little pay. If they were stepping in for 150k they would say yes but you know a unknown Challenger isn't getting 150k or even 100k.
