Cyborg turns down fight with Nunes, (after Dana's comments.)

LOL- Division is fubar to begin with. UNDER NORMAL CIRCUMSTANCES I WOULD AGREE BUT IT'S NOT NORMAL.

So- with that said, let's give fans what they'd want which is a fighter where cyborg would actually be UNDER a 3-1 favorite and not a fight where she s -600 and upwards.

I agree with you.

I admire Cris Cyborgs managers aspirations for the division but it's never going to happen. Talent in WMMA is very limited and the reason why 135 is what it is today is because of Ronda Rousey's ability to sell fights. As much as I like Cyborg I know she will never be as big as Ronda thus 145 won't ever be popular at the hands of her.

Cyborg fighting Nunes is the best thing she could do for the division.

The only thing I am curious about is why is WMEIng/Dana pushing for a fight with Nunes so fast. Are they testing the grounds to get more people at 145 or are they trying to get rid of Nunes. Maybe I am thinking too much into it and they just want to make a quick buck and they don't really care who wins since both aren't a big draw.

Cyborg is popular in Brazil. You make good points. I think maybe they're pinning them against each to build up a 145 division and same time build Nunes(they have also invested alot in her).

She beats carano,and strikeforce and her were doing a good job of giving her the ball as making her thr face of wmma but she fouled it up badly. She didng make weight against a fighter who was like 125 lbs,someone she shouldnt have been fighting anyway and made bullshit excuses about it. She photoshopped pics of her beating up carano so that caranos face looked than it actually was,which ronda called her out on. Tests positive for steroids which nearly killed wmma til ronda revived it in the ufc. So at that point i dont care what cyborg wants. She beats nobodies and calls out 135ers to fight someone who barely makes 145. This is supposed to inspire sympathy? Now im supposed to think this new move has something to do with integrity?

The UFC kind of does need her atp, especially if they are having her headline the New Year's card. Cyborg is actually a quiet needle mover like Diaz and has produced really surprising numbers; hence why they had her HL the years traditionally biggest card.

She is obviously right. This division is a joke and will continue to be for as long as the UFC refuses to add real 145 fighters.
Cyborg beating 135'rs only adds to the stigma that she fights smaller fighters.

UFC created this division almost a year ago. No new fighters added to this division.


Absorb Invicta's 145 division already and start promoting them so they can fight Cyborg. Leave 135 alone! God knows they need to rebuild that division after Ronda & Tate left!!

Ok so what im getting from this is

1 - you dont like that she missed weight
2 - you dont like that tested positive
3 - you dont like she is bigger than her competition
4 - you dont like her photoshops

So all these things combined is what makes you not like her? Are these things ok individually?
