This is literally wrong. This year actually has been one of the strongest years for gaming, just because there were fewer titles that you wanted to play for the year, doesnt disqualify the year for not being a great year in gaming.

Metroid Samus Returns is handheld in hand with TLOU2 as the best game I’ve played this year.

I've found avoiding game spoilers is pretty easy. Obviously stay out of Cyberpunk threads. Beyond that I dont think it takes much effort. Its not like Game of Thrones or something where your entire facebook page gets lit up with people posting their reactions so even if you dont know specifically what happens, you know to anticipate something huge, which often makes it easier to spot.

agreed you pretty much just have to avoid looking at anything cyber punk related after release not to hard.
