Yeah idk what's up with Steve. He was responding to everything i sent in late 2012, he's ignored every e-mail i've sent in 2013...good thing I have shihtzu to answer pretty much everything instead :D
 
Maybe he's stressed out with people trying to order Winnings from him, especially with the non-confirmation thing.
 
He reads the emails, but never responds. Why? I don't know. Just like I don't know why would somebody always say in the end "There is another shop - Winning USA, you can order there" like Mitani does.

Mitani behaves like if he was sending us the gear for free. Het set the prices, he sets the rules. And if he is annoyed it is his fault.

I emailed him with a question about NG-2 (when some guy was claiming here they are discontinued, which isn't true of course). Naturally he didn't respond. So I called him a posed the same question. His first reaction was "Wasn't it you, who emailed me with the same question?". Very polite, OK.

Later in email I thanked for the info he provided and added I always recommend him and try and popularize his shop both on facebook and sherdog. Nothing more.
His respond was:

"Thank you very much for your interest.
There is another reliable shop WINNING USA, which concentrates on distribution outside Japan"

WTF?
 
Dunno what's up, but it seems like he doesn't like questions or something. We'll see if he keeps his shop open. As long as people don't pull douche moves we should be fine.
 
Exactly! As long as he runs the international shop I am perfectly happy, the rest is more or less unimportant.
 
kinda had a different experience, I placed an order, replied to the confirmation e-mail with a question regarding the headgear... he replied within the hour to my question, but still has yet to charge my credit card lol

Actually he usually replies if you have already placed the order (regardless whether or not the card has been charged). Not always, but usually he does.
 
Ok, just thought it was humorous that he was able to answer a question I had, but not go through the process of charging my account, being that it was in the same email. But by the sounds of it, he must be dealing with a lot of international customers atm and I'm still grateful that he's offering the service.
 
Yeah, "I have to deal with a lot of international customers" is the exact description of his attitude towards this job lol

He really annoys me, but as I always say, the orders proceeding is usually just perfect (with a very few exceptions). That's the most important.
My new 16 oz. are arriving today and they would cost me 2x as much from Winning USA (considering the taxes).
 
Or Winning JPN. They usually respond quickly and are very helpful.

Though I would have a bad feeling a bit lol
 
Hmm, maybe if he doesn't know something he has to ask Winning Japan and he doesn't like to ask them so many questions because it will make him look bad or it's annoying? Just a thought.

On the other hand one would expect him to know these things...
