I'm a massive, massive fan of Weili, but she has some big defensive deficiencies in her game. If Joanna had more power, Weili could have been finished in that fight, she got hit with some ripping crosses in that fight.

Honestly I think Rose will beat her again pretty easily because her stand up game is much more modern / sophisticated.. but I will root for Weili hard because I like her style, she's a cool person, and she fights like a warrior.

Pretty much exactly what it is between the two. There really is nothing to be ashamed about being a lesser striker than Rose. She beat JJ in a pure 5 round striking competition 4 years ago at 25, and she has continued to improve with the best coach for that in MMA.

Weili is a good fighter and I don't have many issues with her, other than all of the lame excuses she came out with after the last fight, but Rose is the SW GOAT. When she is on her game, there is nobody at 115 that will beat her.

I really don't like this fight for Weili on a side note. Rose is almost certainly going to win, which puts her completely out of the title picture almost for good at 115. I wouldn't be surprised if they take advantage of her popularity to have her move up to get one more title shot at 125, but Valentina would also destroy her. I think it would have been better for her career to have had at least one more fight between another fight with Rose.

She wasn't that bad with excuses, no need to get so worked up about it..

In fact Rose had made similar excuses for losses, saying that she was distracted, not motivated to fight / suffering from mental health issues.

I think if Weili had more time training in the states, she'd have a better chance.. hoping for a good fight.

A couple differences between the two is that what was going on with Rose was clearly identifiable not only prior to the fight, but easily a fair to say a contributor to why she would have lost to Andrade. Weili has come up with a myriad of excuses, but it was literally a 90 second fight where she was expertly feinted into making a common defense that she does that is one of her weaknesses.

Also, you shouldn't say losses for Rose. The other loss to which she has talked about having an excuse for was when Pat Berry was going through a whole bunch of drug & alcohol issues, causing enough problems for them in their personal life that he was not in her corner for her fight. She was simply distracted and didn't fight the way that she usually does. Other than those two losses, she hasn't lost since she was 22.
 
i think Rose def have an edge regardless of who the hell Zhang trains with.

I mean, what would she get outta traiing with Cejudo anyways?
