Ive always kinda followed this kid. So much talent. His style always looked he was a drunk in a bar fight though.

He has the skills to be one of the best in the division but what holds him back? Discipline? I know his gas tank could use an upgrade

What do you guys think. Am i overratting him?
Either way nice seeing him get the W

Could be a top 15 fighter if he fought up to his talent... just some guys can kill people during training but never put it all together in the cage....

Brandon Vera.
I remember Nate Quarry stated he couldn't "go" with Vera in training bc Vera was to savage. But in the octagon, hit and miss with him.

He's a slightly worse version of Tim Means. Both have a lot of talent but can't get over that hump. Glad to see Mein get the win last night, though.

Didnt he " retire" after his fight with Alves?

Mein's elbows and body punches seem to have almost completely dilapidated these last few years.

This is what many fighters have said about Mike Pyle. If he could fight like he did in the gym, he's be a 3 weight world champion. Just couldn't put it together, it seems.

The guy has been fighting pro since he was like twelve cut him some slack.

Why is everyone assuming he's better then he appears to be while he's in the cage? Maybe he's a decent fighter but not great. That doesn't seem like much of a stretch.

He was fun. But he is one of those fighters who are too loyal to their dad and won't leave him for a better gym. Jake Matthews had this problem too, but has had more success as of late.

In no way am I expert in talent assessment but I think he has more talent than many ranked above him . Definitely lacking in endurance and maybe fight iq?
