Until you get into college level math, most of what you learn comes from the middle east, invented by people who would probably identify more as black than white in today's society.

Lol no. Just because majority of countries use arabic numbers, and the word algebra comes from middle East does not mean that maths taught in schools come from there. Vast majority, if not all mathematical theorem taught in schools comes from European scholars/scientists.

lol... Ended up in Industrial/Municipal work.

In the "Real" world, all those factors are pre-designed in with codes and design tables.

The math classes were to help you understand how they got there, but DifEq was on a different level not really used in Engineering. I remember one lesson on how to calculate the flow path of a single water molecule traveling down a canal and into a whirlpool... Yeah... lol. I'm good at math, Calc 1-3 was no issue and neither was linear algebra, but that class let me know that higher math wasn't for me.

No, of course not. Bullshit like this is what drove me to the right years ago. Mathematics isn't even skewed to people of European ancestry. It's East Asian, West Asian, Middle Eastern, etc. Growing up and throughout my life, I've been exposed to mathematicians who were from sub Saharan Africa or black American. I'm more verbally inclined than STEM oriented myself, but I certainly don't think math is racist or some nonsense like that.

That said, do we really need 100 threads about this bullshit every day when we already have a mega thread? I don't think so.

I didn't know that algebra being marginalized in high school... I seem to remember it being pretty damn front and center.
