Crocop was in his prime during his UFC Run.

You’re a fanboy, tell me how crocop was past prime 10 years ago when he’s on a win streak and athletically 100x better than Country now.

Because some people age worse than others. Look at Tito and Chuck.

No cops not at his best now but Nelson was far worse, means that Cop couldn’t of been worse 10 years ago. Nelsons fitness level hasnt changed.

Are you honestly suggesting that current Nelson would beat Roy Nelson of 10 years ago? Your reasoning is very muddled.

If anything, the two fights prove the opposite of what you're trying to suggest:

A Prime Nelson beat an out of Prime Cro Cop.

Now that both fighters are out of Prime, the better fighter (Cro Cop), won.

Please explain to me how your way makes more sense:

Prime Nelson beat Prime Cro Cop.

And now Nelson, whose fitness level hasn't changed, just got beat by out of prime Cro Cop.

What?

He shouldnt have been “past prime”at 38 then, thats my argument.

Both are past prime, but Cro Cop was once a fucking ELITE athlete which Nelson NEVER was.

How is it hard to understand that the aging process on an overweight guy (which is unhealthy, by the way) is faster than the aging process of a former special forces policeman?
Not every body is the same, people enter their primes at different ages and people's bodies age differently, all of this of course has reasons and is influenced by lots of things, even if it's just genetic predisposition.

So even if Nelson's body started deteriorating after Cro Cop's, it's not surprising at all that past-prime Nelson is going down worse than past-prime Cro Cop.

If Big country ages worse than Crocop then he would have been “more past prime” in their first fight. That means that skill for skill, Nelson is the better fighter.

If he was a shell then how did he regenerate into the full lobster and demolish Nelson then?

Honestly.. I think he finally embraced the cage, got more into clinch/close fighting.. a tad better defense or call it awareness and probably some picos here and there. Oh and the competition is a tad behind but it's to be expected HWs nowadays aren't exactly stellar and popping of talent.

He was not in his prime during his UFC Run. He was way faster earlier in his career, he's managed to adjust his style quite a bit now and is doing really well considering his age.

Think about it logically, if Crocop had 200,000 miles on his odo back in 2010 and nelson had 0, how can Nelson have 400,000 now? Crocop should be at 1,000,000 now like chuck if he was that bad years ago.

By your logic there's literally no scenario under which Cro Cop should lose to a younger Nelson with fewer miles on him 10 years ago and then beat a younger Nelson with fewer miles on him today. None. And yet that happened. What in hell does that have to do with Cro Cop's prime?

Big Country hasn't been competing for as long as Crocop, so no, your fallacy of a statement doesn't hold up.

Mirko has been competing in full contact since the mid 90s. Roy Nelson made his professional debut in the mid 2000s. Look it up. Perhaps next time you begin ranting on this forum you'll actually have some knowledge to substantiate your hateful little biased tirade.

But hes fighting the same guy he

Its easy to look good fighting bums, guys like struve Greg hardy whatever look like killers in the parking lot regional fights but look terrible against elite competetion.
My argument is that Roy was likely further past prime in 2011 considering his current state.

No need to be upset, you are letting your emotions cloud your judgement. Look crocop is a great guy but he was exposed against better competition. If country was in his prime back then how is he so shot now when cop is looking good?

What? When was Roy's Prime, then? Are are you arguing that he never had one? What in hell are you arguing?

Yeah at the very least country and crocop were equal prime wise in their first fight. Skill for skill Country destroyed cop and really exposed pride.
Lol at the destroy part. Only thing saved Roy in that fight was his chin, and also CC had tore his right biceps.

Crocop was not “shot” or passed prime in their first fight because he’s superior now to Nelson. If he was shot then he would be logically swiss cheese by now compared to current nelson.

All the guys coming from pride felt liked they aged 10 years under the new rules. Reality. They didn't realize the UFC fighters were just better at working the system lance Armstrong style
