Kunitskaya is a featherweight who started fighting down at bantamweight over the last several years. She is very big and weight over 14lbs over her last opponent at fight time. Invicta and Kunitskaya were informed she should next fight at 145lbs in California.

The tweets your referencing are tweets older than the OP. A lot has happened since then. It was already confirmed that Kunitskaya isn't fighting Letson anymore and this is likely why.

It’ll be funny if she accepts this fight, after her throwing such a fucking tantrum last year about how long she needs between weight cuts.

Cyborg is fucking lame.
 
Main is lacking a bit but love to see Cyborg mess people up. Ortega vs Edgar is fantastic. Got Dern on the card. Andre vs Sean O'Malley will be a fight of the year canidate. Zingano and Viera will be fun. Arlovski vs Struve should be as long as it lasts.

Still like the card. By no means amazing but they salvaged it a bit.
 
Kunitskaya is a big bantam, California Commission advised her to move to 145
 
LOL won't fight Amanda Nunes saying she wants to fight a real 145lb girl to legitimize the division, proceeds to pick a 135lb girl from Invicta.

Why won't she fight other FWs? Or at the very least, if she's going to just keep defending the FW belt against BWs then why not against Nunes who is a way tougher fight.

Yana is a big 135er, at her last fight she rehydrated a crazy amount of weight and the comission suggested Invicta/UFC to tell her to move up and she did, she was fighting Leah Letson at 145 before the fight got scrapped so she could fight Cyborg. There won't be a significant size disadvantage at all.

Not only that, but Yana is really good, this is not, by any means, a given fight, not with only 4 weeks to prepare herself.

After that, expect Yana to stay at 145. Nunes fight can happen after, Cyborg already accepted it, calm down you 2.

Why you think she "won't fight Amanda" ? She was going to, she is saving this card! After that, at UFC 224 or 226, the Nunes fight can happen.
 
You can't tell me UFC doesn't need money when they are trying to sell this as a headliner just to make money on PPV. Was hoping it would be a Fight Night.
 
So Cyborg says she doesn't want to fight Nunez as,she is a 135 er. Only to fight a,total nobody 135er. How,anyone takes her serious after I don't know. She a solid fighter but no where close to the level of a JJ, Rose, Valentina, or Nunez.

Apparently there are talks of Nunes fighting someone else for 224. If so, that sucks. We'd have lost Nunes/Cyborg for this.

True. After all the jokes at her expense, I became a fan of hers.

But her non-stop bitching, and her boyfriend using her social media accounts to say some absolutely despicable things have thrown her back to being unlikeable.
