Media Crazy stats: Olivera vs Khabib

You are not a Charles fan, you're just a Khabib fanatic trying to pretend you are a Charles fan to diminish him and magnify Khabib. Phony af. Khabib is nowhere near in Charles accomplishments, he is just a good fighter who chose to retire early because mama told him (lol, what a joke). "Coulda shoulda woulda" is dreamland and we are in the real world, and here Charles is way better and proved. Deal with it.
Charles got he ass whopped by Khabibs bag carrier. Khabib would have retired him for good. Deal with it.

In what sane, non addlebrained world is 13-0 better than 29-0?
Rage against it all you can, but numbers are like that immovable figure in your IQ test.
Unfeeling, cold and immutable.
<{outtahere}>
Yea Weidman should have beat 16 cab drivers first like khabib did.

Weidman jumping to UFC level opponents after just 4 fights is much more impressive than khabibs 16 cab drivers over 3 years

And let's not forget Weidman fought Maia his 8th fight ever, 4th in the UFC followed by Munoz and Anderson Silva.

Meanwhile khabibs 4th and 5th UFC fignts were vs Trujillo and Pat Healy lmao

Didn't Khabib had 13 UFC fights?

What are those 13+ fights that he pulled out?

I'd argue he won that first round against Gaethje. Virtually even on significant strikes, and was advancing forward and dictating the pace the whole time.
Gaethje did not even look like he believed he won that round.
A tale of two corners in between stanzas.
It was Gaethje who got saved by the bell, helpless and stymied as Khabib was maneuvering for a sub finish.
What fight were you watching, Shermano?
Yeah maybe I wasn't clear. I'd have to rewatch it but I thought initially live (and officially on the cards) that Gaethje won. But I also meant that Gaethje got saved, not Khabib.

Think of it, what other outcome is possible?

Literally any outcome.

Khabib didn't stay around long enough to call him bulletproof. He has just a few good wins against the same type of fighter.

If he beats Islam, Charles is the goat for that division. Conor would just be icing on the top.

You're just a hater. Name any other champ who could beat a guy that went from staging a three-level duplex in Garden City to fighting for the 155lb belt in the same week.

The most surprising part of this post is the Colby fan account. All the fighters you could be a fan of and you choose Colby.. how sad.

This is like when ESPN comes up with random stats for Lebron James. Khabib and Charles are bad ass dudes. One is retired and we will never know for sure, but how Islam beat him is pretty telling.

Man I’m a Charles fan but Islam is gonna squash Charles even fucking faster and y’all are gonna pull the well yeah Charles was never goat thing again until he beats someone and then you guys will say it’s different this time he’s beating Islam the 3rd time

Khabib did what he did but quit too soon
If olives finishes islam next fight, he has a case

Lol Charles isn’t even near this discussion. He’s been finished a ridiculous 8 times, none of them being when he was washed up or even slightly past his prime.

Islam absolutely murdered him, it wasn’t even a remotely competitive fight. He had coin-flip fights against Chandler, Gaethje and Poirier. He’s mostly riding a wave of luck.

He isn’t even close to Khabib or BJ Penn. Islam will surpass him after he beats him next. A better argument would be Oliveira against Eddie Alvarez.

Weidman’s post-USADA record is 2-6. I know Americans love him and can’t accept reality, but I’m just stating the facts.

Khabib has like what, 12 or 13 fights or something? There's no way he pulled out of fights that many times.

Irrelevant because he would have retired undefeated after Belfort in this scenario. Khabib could well have gone 2-6 by being forced to 170 due to weight cut issues had he stayed

It doesn't matter if you pulled out 99 times, if you retire as Champion and undefeated that's more important.

I am a Charlie fan not a Khabib fan but careers are judged on wins and losses. Charlie's career is amazing but he has been finished a few times.

dude, Khabib did not fight the toughest competition.

If Rickson retired 11-0, this means that is important? nope.

Olive is much more accomplished than Khabib

Honestly Charles is a freak of nature. He's done it all and has some of the most accolades/bizarre records ever. Not to mention his LONGEVITY, it seems like he would outlast everyone because he came into his own wayyy deep in his career and he still looks incredible

Maybe he's not as unscathed as Khabib but he's gonna run off with these records and crazy future fights. Never could tell who was "better"
