Yea Weidman should have beat 16 cab drivers first like khabib did.

Weidman jumping to UFC level opponents after just 4 fights is much more impressive than khabibs 16 cab drivers over 3 years

And let's not forget Weidman fought Maia his 8th fight ever, 4th in the UFC followed by Munoz and Anderson Silva.

Meanwhile khabibs 4th and 5th UFC fignts were vs Trujillo and Pat Healy lmao

Yeah maybe I wasn't clear. I'd have to rewatch it but I thought initially live (and officially on the cards) that Gaethje won. But I also meant that Gaethje got saved, not Khabib.

Khabib didn't stay around long enough to call him bulletproof. He has just a few good wins against the same type of fighter.
 
If he beats Islam, Charles is the goat for that division. Conor would just be icing on the top.

This is like when ESPN comes up with random stats for Lebron James. Khabib and Charles are bad ass dudes. One is retired and we will never know for sure, but how Islam beat him is pretty telling.

Lol Charles isn’t even near this discussion. He’s been finished a ridiculous 8 times, none of them being when he was washed up or even slightly past his prime.

Islam absolutely murdered him, it wasn’t even a remotely competitive fight. He had coin-flip fights against Chandler, Gaethje and Poirier. He’s mostly riding a wave of luck.

He isn’t even close to Khabib or BJ Penn. Islam will surpass him after he beats him next. A better argument would be Oliveira against Eddie Alvarez.

Weidman’s post-USADA record is 2-6. I know Americans love him and can’t accept reality, but I’m just stating the facts.
 
Khabib has like what, 12 or 13 fights or something? There's no way he pulled out of fights that many times.

Irrelevant because he would have retired undefeated after Belfort in this scenario. Khabib could well have gone 2-6 by being forced to 170 due to weight cut issues had he stayed

Honestly Charles is a freak of nature. He's done it all and has some of the most accolades/bizarre records ever. Not to mention his LONGEVITY, it seems like he would outlast everyone because he came into his own wayyy deep in his career and he still looks incredible

Maybe he's not as unscathed as Khabib but he's gonna run off with these records and crazy future fights. Never could tell who was "better"
