I respect Oliveira but Khabib is a level above him. Stats don't tell the entire story. Despite Khabib having fewer overall fights, there's a very real difference in skill that's apparent when you watch both.

Oliveira is exciting. Khabib was dominant.

This is when reading a stat book gets you nowhere. There are times when it’s appropriate, but we’ve seen Oliveira lose plenty of times. Khabib was barely ever touched. I’d say he never lost a round, but “technically Conor did it” even though I debate that third round. And then Gaethje won the first round of their fight too but got saved by the bell.

I'd argue he won that first round against Gaethje. Virtually even on significant strikes, and was advancing forward and dictating the pace the whole time.
Gaethje did not even look like he believed he won that round.
A tale of two corners in between stanzas.
It was Gaethje who got saved by the bell, helpless and stymied as Khabib was maneuvering for a sub finish.
