Nostalgia bias > Recency bias ITT
Everyone seems to be pointing to WEC Aldo as "Prime". His best win in WEC is Mike Brown. So clearly it's not resume that separates him. So what is it? I'm hearing "Prime Aldo was so fast! So dynamic!". Against who? Bloated bantamweights and journeymen?
Essentially the entire argument I'm seeing for "Prime Aldo" winning this matchup is the completely subjective eyeball test against less than stellar competition.
