Once he told her to be quiet, and that her own boss doesn't even like her , it was game over. The way she just took that gives 0 confidence that she could ever stand up to a real leader.

I don't think Joe could have beat Trump. His debate performance was terrible and from there his already poor popularity rating was damaged further. Joe needed everything to go right and to damage Trump in the debates, but that didn't happen and his confused demeanor would have evaporated support from undecided voters.

Trump for all his faults has loyal supporters and proved it again this election.

I am not sure that I see it completely as a candidate thing. My feeling is that people are tired of turbo progressist trash and are tired of being lectured when they express that. It‘s similar in many places in the West, except maybe UK where they just elected labour, SMFH.

I don't think so. People made up their minds they wanted to go back to trump in 2022 after a year of inflation hit them in the balls. Joes doesn't have anything for a "spark" to flip the tide on that, and any attempts he had got derailed by his age and appearing mentally frail.

Trying Kamala was a decent hail mary attempt, it didn't work but I don't think Joe had any effective hail mary's in his back pocket anyways
