LMAO
This is what Trump will be remembered for after this is all over: spending time and money to print his name on below minimum wage relief checks.

#Trump2020 - 4 more years of this comedy and Drain The Swamp

You have to drain the swamp first so those d10 dozers can get in and double it's depth

Not sure if Mike DeWine—Governor of Ohio—has been mentioned here yet, but I gotta give props where they’re due. Ohio was especially aggressive on and shutting down Early on.

Michigan’s Whitmer has been given high marks by many for being aggressive in shutting down schools, bars and restaurants and issuing a stay-at-home order.

But DeWine has consistently moved ahead of Whitmer, and is cited as perhaps the most pro-active governor in the country.

On March 3, before the state had any confirmed cases of community spread of coronavirus, DeWine canceled the Arnold Classic, a body-building and fitness expo in Columbus. He banned gatherings of 100 people or more on Thursday, March 12, a day before Whitmer issued a similar ban.

DeWine was the first governor to close in-service dining for bars and restaurants, issuing that order on Sunday, March 15, a day before Whitmer followed suit. The Ohio stay-at-home order was issued on March 22, the day before Michigan’s stay-at-home order.

Following the campaign closely for the first time as a non american is a funny thing to do.
My conclusions are :
You're all not living in a democracy, the two political party are trash and are not really in power, they are corrupted ploutocrats working for their generous donators (who are basically the same people for both) , the press is lying to the people and corrupted also, and the people are uneducated and follow stupidly what the medias tell them.

Good stuff.

When people conflate the Democrats with the Republicans it makes it clear they don’t really know what they’re talking about. When people don’t distinguish between the small enclave of respectable Republicans like Romney and the rest of the filth it’s a bit of a disservice. None of this is to say the Democrats are wonderful and benevolent but they’re nowhere near the same.

fake news.

“The Treasury Department confirmed to USA TODAY on Wednesday that Trump's name would be on the checks, but claimed that affixing it would not delay delivery of the payments.

"Economic Impact Payment checks are scheduled to go out on time and exactly as planned – there is absolutely no delay whatsoever," a Treasury spokeswoman said in a statement.“

For me the difference is only cosmetic.

Economically what is the difference ?
In term of foreign policy what is the difference ?

Both are backed up by the same big industries.

I don't see a difference, and I'm watching that very closely from outside, I don't have a dog in this fight.

@Octavian sure didn’t care about spending and civil liberties during the Obama years, that’s for sure. Hell, he wanted us to invade Syria.

Oh because Pelosi has a hand in these getting printed and mailed out.
The point is people are waiting for money while she's showing off her ice cream collection.

Is his campaign paying for the change? It's basically a campaign move at this time tax payers are paying for sure. But Obama?

You rage quit sherdog a few weeks ago, why are you still here? Can't hold to your word? Typical TDS sufferer.

The President should have his name on a check presented from his administration. Because (here's the kicker)....... he's the President.

Glad I could clear that up for you!

Holy shit did he say he was going to be ending lockdowns while there are 550,000 active cases?? Please tell me I heard that wrong
This is why they are trying to fast track testing. So those who have recovered or had the disease and didn't know can get back to work. There's no reason why some people can't get back to work.
People outside of big cities are basically ignoring the stay at home orders and treating it like a vacation anyway. Convenience stores are busier than ever up here. People going in and out, sitting in their cars scratching lottery tickets, buying gross cheap beer, energy drinks , slim jims and the like.

Your own source has claims from IRS officials that this could slow it down as most last minute requests do on projects like this.

The quote you just posted is from a treasury spokesperson aka a politician's PR person. You think they are going to publicly state they are going to miss some deadline that their department that never gave themselves so no matter what they'd be "on time" would say they are not? You are fairly gullible.

the “source” for the delay claim is “two senior IRS officials.” So you’ve got a whole two anonymous nobodies who said it might cause a delay, and the actual Treasury Dept. saying no, it does not.

and I’m the gullible one.

You think the source you posted has unreliable sources in it? Punching yourself in the dick is an entertaining defense. Please carry on.

In fairness, it does name that Hooper guy further down after the “two senior IRS officials said will probably lead to a delay in issuing the first batch of paper checks.” So I’ll cede you that one.

In my defense the abcnews story I read earlier didn’t mention him and only had the “two senior officials” as the source.
