So an ABC “anonymous source” story from a couple days about Trump getting a NCMI report about the coronavirus and it being, “a cataclysmic event,” in November of last year (and doing nothing! I’m flush with rage!) got BTFO yesterday lol.

“As a matter of practice the National Center for Medical Intelligence does not comment publicly on specific intelligence matters. However, in the interest of transparency during this current public health crisis, we can confirm that media reporting about the existence/release of a National Center for Medical Intelligence Coronavirus-related product/assessment in November of 2019 is not correct. No such NCMI product exists," the statement said.

Yeah, but tweets from Liberal hacks say otherwise.

Coronavirus has surpassed heart disease and cancer as the leading killer daily. Fed. Reserve chairman warns not to rush opening the country for business. Trump plans on opening the country at beginning of May to mid May. Not a great situation it should be based on how soon Senators and congressmen want to start working.

Democrats listen to actual billionaires. Lol, Trump's poor.
Wear that proud on your chest

This liberal infatuation of the benevolent billionaire that comes and saves the day is not only never the case, but completely immoral and pathetic as well

This is the liberal left’s version of the right wing “hope and prayers” where they say a bunch of niceties but don’t actually offer anything beyond useless platitudes which are only offered because it makes them feel warm and fuzzy inside.

Democrats have continually pushed for a larger stimulus package for the middle class. Republicans are playing games with removing all oversight whatsover about how $2 fucking trillion dollars will be managed. But yeah, it's the democrats principles that republicans are supposed to represent, fiscal responsibility, holding up aid.

Idiotic.

Lindsey Graham has warned President Trump not to politicize the briefings. Shelley Moore Capito was more blunt she said it has gone off the rails he needs to let the scientists run the briefings. Other GOP members worry that Trump not taking it seriously enough. When things like this happen during an election year means that politicians are interested in what the public thinks. Democrats worry about Bidens ability to take on Trump and now GOP members worry that these briefings are hurting the GOP.

yeah but did you know how good the ratings were? tremendous numbers

the fake news won't talk about that though!

Lol, what? You're not on topic, and showed an obsession with Obama being gay and bi-racial, since nobody asked.

Since you seem to think Trump is some good leader, despite having no qualifications, I'll leave this here.

Other than effectively running the country for the last 4 years, and no doubt winning re-election in a landslide. Those seem to be all the qualifications he needs. But other than that you're knocking making sense out of the park.

A hopeful study out about treatment.

https://www.mediterranee-infection.com/

In a recent survey, most physicians worldwide considered that hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and azithromycin (AZ) are the two most effective drugs among available molecules against COVID-19. Nevertheless, to date, one preliminary clinical trial only has demonstrated its efficacy on the viral load. Additionally, a clinical study including 80 patients was published, and in vitro efficiency of this association was demonstrated.
Methods
The study was performed at IHU Méditerranée Infection, Marseille, France. A cohort of 1061 COVID-19 patients, treated for at least 3 days with the HCQ-AZ combination and a follow-up of at least 9 days was investigated. Endpoints were death, worsening and viral shedding persistence.
Findings
From March 3
COVID-19 by PCR. Of the 3,165 positive patients placed in the care of our institute, 1061 previously unpublished patients met our inclusion criteria. Their mean age was 43.6 years old and 492 were male (46.4%). No cardiac toxicity was observed. A good clinical outcome and virological cure was obtained in 973 patients within 10 days (91.7%). Prolonged viral carriage at completion of treatment was observed in 47 patients (4.4%) and was associated to a higher viral load at diagnosis (p < 10-2) but viral culture was negative at day 10 and all but one were PCR-cleared at day 15. A poor outcome was observed for 46 patients (4.3%); 10 were transferred to intensive care units, 5 patients died (0.47%) (74-95 years old) and 31 required 10 days of hospitalization or more. Among this group, 25 patients are now cured and 16 are still hospitalized (98% of patients cured so far). Poor clinical outcome was significantly associated to older age (OR 1.11), initial higher severity (OR 10.05) and low

to April 9 , 2020, 59,655 specimens from 38,617 patients were tested for

hydroxychloroquine serum concentration. In addition, both poor clinical and virological outcomes were associated to the use of selective beta-blocking agents and angiotensin II receptor blockers (P<0.05). Mortality was significantly lower in patients who had received > 3 days of HCQ-AZ than in patients treated with other regimens both at IHU and in all Marseille public hospitals (p< 10-2).
Interpretation
The HCQ-AZ combination, when started immediately after diagnosis, is a safe and efficient treatment for COVID-19, with a mortality rate of 0.5%, in elderly patients. It avoids worsening and clears virus persistence and contagiosity in most cases

lol one of trumps strengths, which was heralded by his supporters, when running for president was that he is a self made billionaire
