Unverified testing in China showed that it was effective in treating patients in various stages of the epidemic. Dr Fauci and many I mean most researchers around the world say that without verification with a much larger sample there is little evidence to support these results from China. Republicans it was all they needed to run with it and FOX. Virologists say there are a number of drugs that would be better suited because hydroxychloroquine has bad side effects.

It's pretty crazy. My father-in-law (83) broke his femur 2/28. Said he hurt his knee and iced it, but mother-in-law called ambulance against his wishes two days later and he was in the hospital. Got pneumonia in the hospital and nearly passed, they had the family come (like two days later) twice. Pulled through (with a ventilator for like 4 days), had the surgery (plate and 10 screws to fix spiral fracture right above the knee) and then they cut off visitation a week or so after that. Now he's in a nursing home to "rehab" the leg and that's how I'm aware.

So imagine your mom, your spouse or even your child is involved in a car accident and is hospitalized in very grave condition. Something non-corona has put them there. As of right now, you'll never get anything but daily phone updates throughout their treatment/death here in OH. If they end up dying, you'll never get to see them alive again---even if they hang on for ten days or two weeks. Eerie.

Thats a completely heartbreaking situation. I cant even imagine. I hope he comes home soon.

Do you feel like the hospital is dealing open and honestly with you about your fathers condition and progress?
