Absolutely. He done a tremendous job considering we're in a once in a lifetime scenario.
Right. This guy's "tremendous job" consisted of banning flights from China and hoping for the best, while repeatedly trivializing the threat in public statements, which probably helped prevent a lot of people from taking the necessary precautions to protect themselves and the people around them. Pretty much the same approach that the country of Indonesia took, in other words. And it worked out about as well as anyone with half their brain intact would have been able to predict.

I'd be interested to know what you think a bad job would have looked like?

I'm voting for President Trump on election day.

Why is it bad that the Pentagon hasn't sent out 2,000 ventilators yet due to lack of shipment location? They are being warehoused in NY and Cuomo said they don't need them quite yet (but eventually will). Why rush to send them out when they are not immediately needed and the exact location of their earliest, best use is not yet known? Incompetence would be rushing to send them out (just to say you did), and having them end up in places that may never need them.

The point of a stockpile is that it prevents you from having to acquire supplies when you need them, as they are stockpiled already. Cuomo has experts informing him as to the amount of ventilators, among many other supplies, he will need as the pandemic swells. Other governors are doing this as well.

It's amazing how these people say shit they don't know applies to them above anyone else.

It's like a CEO taking no ownership, blaming all of his middle management, then being like "What, you expected ME to be in charge of this stuff?!"

If the response was unique in any way, you TDS folks might have an argument. The bottom line is, the whole world slow rolled their approach. The #1 and #2 healthcare systems in the world, didn't see it coming either, and they are properly fucked as well. This idea that Trump's response was somehow an outlier in the grand scheme of things, is asinine, and it's why your criticisms fall on deaf ears, and Trump's approval during this situation keeps going up. It's because most people aren't retarded, and understand that it's something nobody really saw coming.

While it would be nice if Trump was some savant who could see into the future, and know exactly how this would play out in advance, it's just not realistic, and he was making extreme decisions when even the WHO was telling people not to overreact, and your Dem heroes like Bill de Blasio were telling people to chill out and calling Trump's travel ban racist.

Continue spiraling into insanity though...

You honestly don’t think he mishandled this in the beginning and could have made a bigger impact earlier on?

Before this pandemic, President Trump tried to close our borders with several nations. Activist Judges reopened the borders likely out of spite.

I'm very satisfied with the response President Trump has had to this crisis. No response will be perfect, and anyone expecting a perfect response is holding the President to an unreasonable standard.

The US and South Korea got their first response on the same day.

And now this guy has an active role lol

Yup Trump is killing it

3M just got hit with the P act

Well you did say more old people dying is a good thing so why do you need a reason at all?

Dont get me wrong, im ok with boomers and the religious dying. Especially the religious boomers. I mean from a non- bitter policy perspective, what is the reasoning? Diseases cant spread in church? Congregating in church is more important than not spreading disease?

Can anyone give me a good reason why churches are exempt from the stay at home orders in florida? I dont mean just because DeSantis isnt taking the virus seriously, i mean an actual good reason.

Why do you attack just churches? What about businesses? A "stay at home" order isn't really official, until they lock down EVERYTHING. If you're a deeply religious person, isn't God's house as much as an essential service as say, Walmart?

Most of the world is half stepping this shit. If they want to implement a real lock down, they need to do it full stop, and quit giving certain places a reprieve. No churches, no mosques, no Walmart, no liquor stores, etc, etc. Otherwise, they're just delaying the inevitable, and extending this shit ass period in time.

Why are you okay with that?
