How come some states aren't sheltering in place yet? Just don't understand it.

One are of the country that seems to have done well is the SF Bay Area. They seem to have slowed the growth by acting quickly, California is on pace to peak 10 days later than NY. I wonder if the fact that California has managed medicaid has anything to do with this success. I have advocated for County Organized Health Systems rather than medicare for all. I suspect these COHS plans had a big impact towards slowing the spread.

she's a mega wealthy woman, stocks were at all time highs, so selling was the right thing to do, regardless of the virus or not, a lot of people were moving stocks in preparation of the oncoming election and uncertainty involved. Look at her portfolio, it's active, and very high level, it's not like she wasnt already grilled by Tucker, and she went on his show voluntarily to defend herself. She's only in headlines because she's one of the wealthiest members.

You would literally drop that quote into generally criticism (some warranted, some not) of Bush threads and utter carnage (and laughter) would ensue. There were only two things funnier than that on this site, for me:

1) Happeh. Anything with that guy was insane, but fascinating; also he seemed reasonably happy, lost in a world he had created for himself. He reminds me of that line from Terminator in the police station; from the Phycologist "This is great stuff. I could make a career out of this guy! You see how clever his part is? How it doesn't require a shred of proof? Most paranoid delusions are intricate, but this is brilliant!" .

Because some Governors don't want to do it.

I think Californians are taking the stay at home orders seriously for the most part. That's very important for a place like San Francisco which has pedestrian areas and public transport. But most of California is driving everywhere and that definitely helps with social distancing. The healthcare system gets tested when the social distancing breaks down.

I didnt see anything about that, her claim is that her third party manager handles everything without her input. You need to know the context of this woman and her family, she's already in the line of work subject to this type of scrutiny, BEFORE she was in the senate, so she had to insulate herself between these transactions. She did her due diligence and an ultra rich woman, these big numbers are par the course.

she's married to the chairman of the NYSE ffs, there's no way they can openly trade without scrutiny for many years now. This is a complete witch hunt. There are members of congress that made their own trades FFS, those members are the ones that flew under the radar. People are just jelly that Kelly is rich.

I'm familiar with the folks in california, because I live here, they've been doing it directly, and a blind eye is turned. Harping on Kelly for playing it the right way, is baloney.
