Okay, why does that make the travel ban of "little sense" exactly?

It's what he emphasized in a 7 minute talk when he should be worried about ramping up the availability of testing and turning around testing results.

We don't have enough tests kitsch, we aren't getting the results from the tests kits we have quick enough and we don't have adequate coordination between the CDC, WHO and State and local officials.

Emphasizing a 30 day travel ban is pretty trivial compared to that especially since other countries are taking this more seriously.

I agree with the travel ban. We need a lot more testing though. Should have been done weeks ago

And the movement of people in Europe makes it hard to tell who has been exposed. Which is why the travel ban is a good idea.

You know the same as tell people to stay home and avoiding crowds.

It's the appearance of doing something to distract from the fact that they can't test people fast enough and get the results fast enough because he ignored this until it became a pandemic

I see the liberals are bitching about anything Trumps does.

The democrats will fight anything he wants to do to help.

This should be interesting in how this turns out in the end.

"
Democrats are pushing to include paid sick and family leave as part of any economic response to coronavirus.

The likelihood of enacting at least a temporary paid leave policy went up Tuesday, when President Trump mentioned the issue in his list of possible legislative responses at a GOP Senate meeting.

But the details of a paid leave policy remain unclear, and Democratic demands could make Republican support for the policy difficult."

Senate Republicans shot it down.

I agree with more testing faster but that doesn’t change the fact the travel ban is a good idea.

Not to mention his chief of staff Mark Meadows is quarantined and so is his insanely incompetent best friend Matt Gaetz

Why did he exempt the UK?

He can issue a travel ban but again it's like number 5 or 6 on the list of things to worry about at this point. Its here and its spreading.

Italy is already shut down

Where are all the liberals crying for open borders now?

They seamlessly switch from "closing borders is racist" to "Trump isn't closing enough borders" without batting an eye.

This is not a good sign when the leader of the free world who is heading up the effort to fight this is infected with the very thing we have no treatment for that will be the talk tomorrow.
So.... what do you mean exactly? Is Trump protecting the Coronavirus? Is he secretly pro Corona? How dastardly.

Again, he signed a rather large spending bill to combat the virus. What more do you want? Shit ain't gonna happen overnight.

A travel ban is not trivial at all. It actually should've been implemented at the first sign that it was being spread by international travelers, but we had the WHO genius saying not to worry yet, and that it could be contained. The WHO are the real fuck ups in all of this. All their knowledge, and they wait until it's a full blown pandemic to sound the alarms. Shit, I was calling for a travel ban, and I'm certainly no expert.

Oh', and Tom Hanks has Carona virus. Nothing to do with what I said, but I figure it should be known.

Just because you don’t understand doesn’t mean he has to explain it to you like a 3rd grader.

Go ask your parents. I mean they are right upstairs

lol can't provide reasons so you resort to attacks?

You're completely off the rails I was pointing out he was sniffling and snorting a lot during his speech it sounded at minimum he had a cold, or heck the coronavirus seeing that he has attended a lot of functions with people who have been quarantined or had a positive test.

It's not "the appearance" of doing something. It's literally doing something. Good God, man. Does your TDS know no bounds?

He literally got rid of a pandemic response team in the NSC and Homeland security.

Dr. Fauci said today in Congressional testimony today they would have been helpful.

He reluctantly signed the funding bill after repeatedly saying they didn't need all the money.

And today the GOP Senate rejected a funding bill to provide sick leave, small business loans, expand food stamps and a whole lot more financial relief.

But hey what could he do besides react when the crisis hits a
