Trump's been making it political since it started. I love how you're up in arms over someone suggesting that self serving dipshit would do something controversial and iffy in terms of "ROI" to distract from his abject failure of leadership, this has been an embarrassment...we're attacking the problem of COVID-19 with the effectiveness of a third world country.

On a purely objective note, hope the travel ban has a helpful effect.

Why ban travel from Europe but UK is ok?

Italy is shut down and other European countries are more on top of this than the US. He also exempted the UK.

It would be like Mexico shutting down the US border to stop illegals

Because literally every expert in the world says you are retarded. CNN isn't imposing curfews. Trump isn't shutting down travel on a whim. NBA isn't cancelling because they feel lazy. All these people are listening to the advice of the world's experts who model this stuff for a living.
