No, that's a black/white position from an idiot.
More cases = more testing.
Obviously, the ideal situation would be no cases, but considering this is a pandemic, the more we know, the better. Maybe Trump should just shut down all testing, and report that the numbers are declining, like the Chinese do. Would that make you feel better?
Jackass.
So now you want to shut down testing? You are so pretend, plastic.
The thread was about the US response, so off the top of my head:
A month or so ago the leaders said everything was fine and that it will be all clearer up in a few weeks, had a press conference to pad themselves on the back. As long as everything is fine why should the public change their behavior? Business as usual.
The they said everything was fine in public but some turned around and sold their stocks.
Now the US has more known cases than anyplace in the world.
It's wildly believed that wearing a mask in public helps reduce spread of the virus yet the country is in such crisis you can get a mask. If you wanted to wear one to the grocery store too bad.
Have you had a chance to look at the test kits they were using just a few weeks ago? They are oldAF so there is no reason the test could not be performed at local hospitals and labs but the government insisted on running them.
The US response leaves plenty of room for improvement.
