South Korea started mass producing test kits four days after their case , that testing is what allowed SK to get ahead of this thing .

“Yes, they’re in a stockpile because that’s where they are supposed to be, because we don’t need them yet,” Cuomo said. “We need them for the apex, the apex isn’t here, so we’re gathering them in a stockpile.”

Cuomo’s comments demonstrate there is not an immediate shortage in ventilators in the city, despite alarming reports.

“We don’t need them today, because we’re not at capacity today, that’s why they’re not deployed because they’re not needed,” Cuomo said.

You're literally DEAD wrong.

Every decision leadership makes today affects lives 14+ days from now. So right now and where we are is based on what we were doing two weeks ago. Ventilators are being used between 11-21 days. It's beyond ignorant to say Trump should need to flex his muscle until needed - insinuating that it's not needed.... on the contrary, it IS need because of where we're going to be in 14 days.

If you're struggling to breath in two weeks in an ICU and they don't have enough ventilators for you, I doubt you'd feel that way. Also, no ones saying nationalize all industry. We're saying that there should be a nationalized effort to build ventilators and PPE for medical professionals. What the fuck is so hard to understand?

I must have posted like 10 times earlier this week that we were rushing into giving them this money and needed guarantees regarding layoffs because they were just going to take the tax payers money and then lay the tax payer off.
