I feel bad for women in hijabs at the moment having to wear a mask as well as that.

I think if they are just wearing the head covering hijab they should be okay that type of hijab and then a mask would seem fine

But if its Those full on hijabs you are speaking off that only show the eyes, they are horrible to be honest especially n hot humid heat its like torture, sadly if they even show their face or ankles they could get a beating in these strict countries.

Thanks, it's just observation of the cultural norms of mainly Muslim countries, north Africa, middle East etc. Women are treated completely differently when covered up as opposed to showing skin. It's like respectable society Vs open season for creeps.

I turned a corner in a super market today and a little boy jumped when he saw me, and ran back to his mommy.. it was very disturbing to have a child look frightened. What Im trying to say is there seems to be a lot of hysteria going about, and its not just me seeing this.
Nothing abstract about watching society eat itself in front of our faces over mass media/government scaremongering, its not even debatable the effects this is having on our mental health.

I saw that story days ago because I am a member of a FB group for expats in Jakarta.

I was in Jakarta between March until early August. They are imposing a hard lock down only now. They had a partial lock down from early April until sometime in June. As for the people, there is zero fear of the virus except for the Western expats.

The COVID testing in Jakarta was very expensive, and now they are saying if you test positive even with no symptoms you have to stay at a government designated facility for two weeks, no stay at home quarantine. It could be a way to deter ppl from getting tested.

We are being trained, its also predictive programming, some nations will be quicker than others depending on culture and how easy people give in. Western countries UK and USA may be difficult nuts to crack but if this continues for 5 years (prolonged torture and threat) we will give in and happily accept the DNA vaccine.

Presumably from cross-reactivity from exposure to other coronaviruses. The immune system basically has three arms: antibodies, B memory cells (which produce antibodies) and T killer cells which destroy virally infected cells. Having T cells immunity could cause people to either be asymptomic or have a mild course of the disease, possibly clearing the disease before even producing antibodies (this showing up as seronegative on tests). T cell immunity can last decades.

Just picked up my city paper, and our city had 32 deaths from Covid and 26 of those deaths the person had underlying health conditions, most of the ones who died were over 75 with 3 who were in their 50s who were overweight and had diabetes. And the majority of the deaths were in the nursing homes, the able body elderly who live in retirement communities where they are out and about get sunlight and not cooped in bed without sunlight, nobody died from covid and they had 4 covid positive tests and the 4 were over 70 and all had mild symptoms but survived, im just shocked they didnt have more positive tests in the retirement community housing.

We had a total of 5,484 positive tests our population is a little over 100,000.

Im just confused at this virus, I just picked the paper up today after shopping they had it free at Ralphs market. I saw it said Covid rates dropping so I read it.

I noticed is the elderly who were not cooped up and hidden at home were not getting sick or severe symptoms, it was mostly nursing homes where the elderly are hidden inside and can barely move or get any type of activity going.

I also noticed when i go to the Casinos its like over 60 percent old people they have to be at least 75 yet there is no news showing San Manuel Casino Covid surge!!! 1 thousand elderly sick with covid!

Why are these elderly in the Casinos able to not get sick of covid, a lot of people are forcing their grandparents to stay indoors they been inside for months without even getting any germs or air to strengthen the immune system and this is scary could that be hurting the old people? Even Dr Fauci said sunlight, activity and vitamin D is what keeps his immunity strong, the guy is 80 and is already large groups of people daily sometimes he is caught not even wearing his mask too.

Are politicians trying to kill the elderly, I mean Coumo put covid patients in nursing homes with already sickly old people who are bed ridden and they died. why would he think that is a good idea?

Looks like shits getting worse in Europe. At this rate I won't be going to Spain and italy next summer either.

People bag on how the US handled this but herd immunity has its benefits too. I feel like cases will continue to go down here because of mass exposure already whereas strict lockdowns curb the spread faster but make the population more susceptible when small outbreaks occur later on.
